the best part of one piece is that, when you have a bunch of questions. they get answered with more questions and more mysteries. which makes you think outside the box.

People crying about "spoilers" as if *anyone* is going to remember the details of a random video, by the time the spoiled shit actually comes up in the anime/manga. Like I remember being spoiled on something, and when it finally came up, I didn't remember being spoiled on it until *after* I saw it happen.

Thats why i love one piece so much, *the length*. When it comes to fiction, you know a writer or a studio is doing something right if they can push out 1,000+ episodes & people dont get tired of it. If you have a boring piece of fiction that spands that long, give up .. I would rather have a 1,000+ episode anime that will take months to catch up with, rather than a short anime that i can watch in an entire day & then wait more than 4 years for the next season (im looking at you nanbaka, its been 8 fucking years let me continue my funny prison anime you assholes!)

Same here bro. I like watching long animes rather than the ones which you can pull off in one night and feel like this is it. A good story needs time. And One Piece is indeed one hell of a story

One Piece is going crazy where I am at. And I am honestly amazed it can keep building up after 900+ episodes. I get some answers and also more questions about the world and charecters. I also know, as I am purposely lagging behind, more crazy is about to come.

Just to add, the moon is a physical location in the One Piece world. You won't find that out in the anime at all which is the only reason I'm adding this here cause a lot of people don't know this. They even got space pirates.

It’s will help to know basic world lay out yes it simi spoils some spots but it saves people a lot of confusion so they can focus on the plot and sub plots as the story goes without having to rewatch

When you catch up look up the cover story arcs. Its gonna blow your mind about the simplicity & Odas ability to plan. You can technically start now i'd just suggest 1 cover stor arc per anime arc.

The length of One Piece was never a problem for me as well. I either liked it and had much to enjoy, or I didn't and moved on from it like any other series not to my taste. I never saw the big deal, but I do have understanding for people that find it hard tho. I also really like when you give us little updates where you are at in the series and what you think so far. Things like that.

That's right, real fans don't go by "season", we go by the arcs. I've been reading and watching it for over 20 years (since Ace vs Smoker 1st aired), you will learn the lingo as time goes on. But you might need to either take notes or watch the breakdowns done by O'Hara and Grand Line review. The wiki is also very helpful and keeping up with characters and situations.
