What always caught my attention in this story is what happened at 4:16. It was 1982, did cellphones already exist at that time? Because it's really wierd that someone would be able to call her that fast after she drew the curtains, unless that person was a neighbor of her and was calling her from a landline phone.
@muhelectionwasstolen7253 Yes, I thought about the possibility of a bigger version of a cellphone, but if that's the case that person must had been parked in front of her house in order to watch her draw the curtains, how is it possible that no one saw anything? I'm sorry if my English isn't that good but it is not my native language.
@@denisgabrielpresa2049 It's definitely possible there were multiple people involved. The one who saw her close the window could've had a walkie talkie and called another accomplice who was in a house, and then that person called Cindy on the landline. The person who sent Roy the voicemail sounded like a woman, but the person that Agnes' husband saw standing outside the house during the fire was a man.
It’s also weird that the private investigator set up all the high tech security outside and inside but still didn’t catch anyone coming in. He only heard it from the inside. So, it’s a bit weird to think about.
I don’t know why it baffles me when cops do absolutely nothing. Are you telling me they can’t have an unmarked car sit outside and see who is doing it? I wouldn’t be surprised if the police were behind it and trying to cover it up because they swept it under rug quickly. It could very well be someone doing this to her and they got away with it because of the shitty police
We didnt get a full details of the case because the police keep skipping all the process of the invertigations. Like Cee said, yeah what about the drugs? If she did this to herself, there could be drugs in her house. Even if she has this 'dual personality', all the things she has would be in the house. There is no way police could miss it. Weird... And they are many witnesses like her friends that stayed at her home, her police boyfriend, but none of them notice anything about her, instead her friends husband saw someone at the street, in front of her house! What? And police didnt even care about that? What? Is that even true at all? Did her friend husbands lied about that? I dont know, hearing this story without details, make them all kinda suspicious.
Oh wait, I remember Kidd said about that voice call sounds like a female, could it be a work of husband and wife? Someone that knows her well? Meaning her own friends maybe a neighboor? I mean come on, she's been thru this for years before even the police knows about it.
the D.I.D theory is a cool theory throughout the whole case but if that is it the needle would still be near her then and what explains the guy who ran after the fire so mat the police officer is looking mighty suspicious if Roy's alibi also checks out
I believe it had to be a cop. That would explain the police being so certain it was all staged, is because they all actually knew what was going on and didn’t interfere because whoever this stalker was, was at least one of them, and whoever that cop was made sure to keep things very ambiguous for the sake of making the police’s insistence at turning a blind eye believable. The ex-boyfriend seems suspect to me at least, but I would need more details about Roy’s alibis, the security set-ups that were being used, etc. I don’t think it was her doing it to herself. I think she was being terrorized and set up before finally getting abruptly killed. What’s strange to me is just how abrupt her death was. After years of playing with their food, this stalker just gave her a quick overdose and drove off with her? It’s like they were constantly mindful and trying to make it all seem ambiguous. No drawn out murder to empirically indicate it was, in fact, murder, and a police force that continued to maintain their theory against her even once she was found dead. This woman, for whatever reason, I think was being terrorized by police. Alternatively, it could have been both the ex-boyfriend cop and Cindy’s ex-husband, or one of them conspiring with someone else, because Cindy reported that in one struggle that occurred, there were two different men trying to strangle her. There’s very likely to be more than one person involved, and the police definitely know more than they let on. Another interesting piece of info, btw, is that while under hypnotherapy, Cindy apparently uncovered a repressed memory of witnessing a double murder and later on revealed she witnessed her ex-husband kill and dismember a couple while they were on vacation, but Cindy’s sister, who was also on that same vacation, claimed she didn’t recall anything sinister happening (worth noting that a female perpetrator is also speculated to have been involved). Cindy also claimed that two men dressed as cops knocked on her door and then ran off when she radioed someone. Make of all that what you wish. It honestly sounds like a very paranoid women was driven crazy by legitimate harassment.
So what does Sherlock holmes - the simplest answer usually is the truth. So stalker that killed her or she had disorder that she can't remember, never diagnosed and the other persona wants to harm herself? Like come on now.
This is a very interesting case. I recommend looking it up and reading about it. There are so many other events that happened. There were times when a neighbor said they saw a man lurking around Cindy’s property, and Roy suggesting the mafia was out to get Cindy, etc. It’s just wild.
I have fully diagnosed did by my psychiatrist it’s like they are my friends it’s a defence mechanism due to trauma. Besides amnesia and maybe one of my personas getting me in trouble from over protecting myself I don’t believe this was a did case I just can’t see one of my personas doing that to me… to another person who’s threatening me yeah but hmm 🤔
