Demon Slayer is definitely a good starter anime, I also recommend one called Assassination Classroom. Depending on your ability to stomach some gore and blood, Attack on Titan may be good for you as well (just try and watch the first episode and think about it after). If wanna slowly but surely get into more traditional yet grindy shonen anime like Naruto and One Piece, My Hero Academia and Black Clover may be something to look into as well.
