This is meant to be the full size version. Basically this is what they came up with for that. The xenon lineup only makes that possible using the trim plate.

They still have the trimplate model of the single gang, this is just a full size

@@Alarmo05221 The single gangs in the LED series do not have a trimplate. It's only an accessory for the xenon series.

No it shouldn't. This is double-gang and the other version is single-gang. This is what they came up with in the LED line instead of a trimplate accessory.

@@joeycaridi3030 These are still pretty new, be cool about them for a while. These variants are made so you don’t need to have an ugly exposed hole in the middle of the unit.

My local Best Buy’s simplex system with all spectralert classics should be a huge sin
