Hello Dr Morton, can you please make a video or explain the layers of the kidney. i really cant find a clear and precise explanation on gerota, toldt and zuckerkandl. is gerota the overall fascia renalis. and toldt and zuckerkandl are just subdivisions of it.?

What about the blood which goes down to supply the lower limb, it didn't enter the kidney in the renal artery, how will it get filtered then? it goes down and comes back to the heart as vein

Yes … the blood circulates and gets to the kidney on the next round or maybe the next one after that
