Potassium goes hand to hand with magnesium, doctors don't want you to know because they like to have customers. Potassium is a key factor to make sure toxins, salt and other bad staff make a way out of your body but if you don't have magnesium there is nothing to balance the nervous system . pleze, please do your own research , after all is your body not the doctors. and remember doctors like ill customers so that they can pay their bills. In my house we do all natural, holistic. we cure my husband kidney cancer holistically. I'm a believer in God almighty and he created all nature for us to be able to live a healthy and happy life.
I have been prescribed Ibuprofen for several years and now I'm suffering from other issues unrelated to my original condition. NSAIDS should never be taken indefinately. There are alternatives - don't accept lazy medical advice
She has done very well because my GFR was 27 about 4 years a go but my doctor told me I had only 6 to 12 months. After that I ran in to so many problems however however I am still not in dialysis so I I don’t really listen to doctor that much but that’s just me
Guys, hello. We need between 4 and 6 k mg of k per day. 1 large banna has about 600 mg. Not many people get toxic levels of k from diet. That is quite hard to do.
I sleep with banana hanging in my room I like the tropical vibe and I like to put a banana peel under my pillow so I get extra electricity when I sleep
I'm soon to turn 71 in a couple weeks. I've never had out-of-wack bloodwork... last week I got my yearly blood work results and my Potassium is 5.3, I'm having fast heart beats when I wake up during the night and don't sleep well at all. I've never taken perscription drugs. I always considered myself healthy until covid....since then, I have Ground Glass Opacities in both lungs. Should I be alarmed? Your comment would be appreciated. Thank you so much!

Thank you for sharing the # of potassium depends and everyone has a different threshold. I have recently been ill and had a blood test with a 5.5 potassium level. Seemed like I had food poisoning and became dehydrated after heavily resting (which is usuals for me getting ill). So the marker came up 5.5 potassium for the first time. The doctor gave me EKG and found no problems. Blood pressure no problem. I am not diabetic. The doctor said my kidneys are functioning. So - I am feeling far better now after a month. Retested blood and again it is at potassium is 5 no EKG problem. Kind of crazy for trying to figure out how to lower potassium when I think I am Okay by all other measures. So - I will test my potassium again in a couple months and see where it is while watching some dietary (not heavy salt, limit other high potassium food intake). This 5 to 5.5 may just be my metabolism. The doctor said that could be the case. I am now less concerned however more aware to monitor my potassium level. Thank you. Age 69
Remember what all these diseases are the original caused with lack of potasium and proper type of sodium, un-refined sea salt is the key. This is how i kept my mum healthy at her 90s i went through all these loosing my dad without understanding and listen to doctors
If the person in question is overweight and diabetic then potassium is the least of their worries. They should think more about giving up the sugar and empty carbs.
I think you wrong, potassium is dangerous for everyone should be in suggested limit, while lowering potassium you have to keep eyes on sodium and calcium, it is important to keep all in limit, it is very dangerous if imbalance
I'm injecting epoetine what and other maintenance sodium bicarbonate ferrous sulfate irbesartan . Ammodiphine and boiled herbal leaves of what I ve read that is good for kidney . Plus a prayers to extend more o
12 years ago my wife's GFR was 27. She has been taking Sodium Bicarbonate and fish oil. Now her GFR is between 18 and 16 and in April she may get a fistula in preparation for dialysis. From what I've read it seems to be in our best interest to wait until her GFR is between 5 and 7 as long as she is not sick and still has a good appetite before initiating dialysis. Our kidney doctor thinks she should go on dialysis as soon as the fistula heals and is ready to be utilized. What do you guys think of that?
@@2alexkom Her GFR is between 16 and 20. No dialysis yet. We never got the fistula and when the time comes we plan on doing peritoneal dialysis. She is in her early 70's.
