As a cosplayer, yes, you need extra space period. Closet, garage, everything since we need space to make it and store everything!!!

My friend is a lot more active of a costumer than I. I find my costumes often end up in bags, but she has had, growing up, a dedicated closet for them. She does cosplay as well as historical dress. I have two other friends who do costume as well, I just don't know how they deal with their storage issues lol. I often keep my costume bags in under the bed storage containers. Edit: I know it wasn't, but I felt like that comment was super calling me out hahaha.

Cosplayer hi. Yes you'll have to have a lot of closet and storage space for the clothing items, props, wigs and nick nacks if the character calls for it. You can potentially wear common day clothes for the cosplay like a black turtle neck sweater, tan pants, black button up, black t-shirt, or white gloves depending again on the character. Low buget cosplays get really creative on how to make common clothing look like a character they want to portray then back to common clothing while high buget might have a separate storage for their cosplays.

about the closet space, oh defenitely. as a cosplayer I need more space for my shoes, the outfits, accesoiries, wigs and other probs. In my experience especially armor cosplays can take up so much space its unbelievable

Yes you do need more closetspace for all the different items that you use for your cosplay. I have like 15 different cosplaycostumes at the moment. some items can be re- used.

My first car was a cutlass ciera & boy did it do well for running into a rock wall, a couple traffic cones here & there, a garden gnome & even a big truck, I was flying on the highway & the exit was at a standstill cuz of traffic so everyone was stopped, I realized it way too late, slammed on my brakes & skidded into the guy ahead of me. I will say though, as I was pulled over speaking to the driver, we all of a sudden heard brakes squealing & right next to us a car didn't stop in time, hit the guy in front of her & totally lost her front bumper so I wasn't as upset with myself as I originally was 😂😂
