My daughter loved smacking weeds and watching the pieces fly all over the yard. Lets out frustration and cleans up the yard, too. Particularly useful, because she is in her teens. :)

Excellent! Great lesson on training up kids to understand the balance of work and play. The satisfaction a child gets from completing a job well builds self worth like nothing else.
