The police should round them all up, call the parents of the ones who are minors, and question all of them with their parents present, if applicable. With the taxes that are collected in these shore towns, surely they have enough money to investigate tourists getting attacked. How is this not a problem? Tourism is their bread and butter. That is all they need is to be known to take a soft stance on this and it is good bye tourists.

Train, arm yourselves and stay aware of your surroundings. Pepper spray and self awareness would probably have completely eliminated this from happening and then you have your gun for backup in the worse case scenario if that doesn't work. Your best bet vacationers, is 'Not' to come down to North Wildwood. There is an extreme amount of violence, especially on the North Wildwood boardwalk! Also in the 'northern' end, Anglesea, the bars area! Many people have been victims, of being jumped, and robbed! The reports you've seen on the news, is just the ones reported. There are quite a bit more, they don't report, as to not hurt tourism. It's happening in Wildwood, also.These incidents happen quite frequently, without any news coverage. This Is surprising, that this was aired, on channel 29. The police and politicians, have always done this, it's pro quo, for the Wildwoods. If possibly, stay at 'other' local resorts, or go out of county! As the economy gets worse, especially for the underprivileged, this ' 'WILL' continue to happen with more frequency.

I used to love W.W. , moved there right out of high school and got a job on the boardwalk. Went back every summer for many years but when I saw the video of 2 police men beat up a young mother on the beach a few years ago I told myself I will never go back.
The cops were doing their job arresting a woman on probation carrying alcohol on the beach and resisting arrest. Just ignore the complete police body cams for what the media shows you.
There has been a group of boys on bikes and ALWAYS riding around N wildwood starting with drivers and kids in streets. They bullied my neighbors son and made fun of his sister who is mentally challenged, Perhaps us residents should start a class action case to get our point across, It is most certainly time to charge for our beaches as well. This is only the beginning of what could turn our quaint town into a not so friendly place for families,
Wildwood is the hood of beaches. My family used to go there in the 70s and 80s and had property in town. I went there two years ago and vowed never to go back because of the condition it is in.
I am crippled for life and have blood clots in my lungs. From some a-hole who attacked me, like this, for no reason. We never spoke. The police wouldnt charge him with assualt, i have to sue the property owner because my medical bills are over 300k. I will likely die young from a blood clot, because of some jerk.

This has been going on since Memorial day it's a shame the mayor and the police won't do anything about this. I guess they have to protect their big money donors. Thanks to Gov. Murphy for legalizing pot and alcohol for kids.
This is nothing new in North Wildwood. I stopped going there in the late sixties. Decent law abiding people should take their families someplace else for vacation. If the cash stops flowing there the city will have to address the thug issue or simply go down the toilet. There are safer places to visit.

why i taught my son to fight and then stuff i couldnt teach him sent him to boxing class so try this with my son have another thing coming... And he is a big boy that could hold his hands get yourself hurt so to the familes that this happen to teach your kid to fight look at the time we are living in and if your from philly like i am south philly i rather know my son can hold his own when he goes out then him not knowing how to fight and getting bullied...
