THE REASONS THESE PARENTS DID IT RIGHT: They brought the dog in last so the puppy wouldn't have to be suffocating in a box for hours, and only in an enclosed space for a few moments. The kids are old enough that they can start to learn responsibility and care for the dog, but young enough the parents can still do most of the care taking.
Zoette Nightly you really think that the other people who surprise their kids with a puppy leave the puppy in a box for hours?? Pretty dumb if they would, and pretty dumb if you think they would..
A dog is only a Christmas present if your up for a 10-20 year job. Having puppy or dog is like having another kid. You have to wash them groom them feed them give them treats and walks they also need to be taught what to do. It's a big responsibility and it takes quite alot of money to keep one same as any child. Remember dog should be classed as family member, not just a pet you go and stroke for your sake.
I just bought a black labrador named Leo. He is treated with equal respect as us but discipline is discipline. He is like another child, brother or sister. Once you have it there is no backing out. You cant just get it and be like "Woah. Shit".
I got a vizsla for christmas 3 years ago and he is the LOVE of my life. It was the best gift my husband ever bought for me! This is a great experience for these little kids! They will learn so much from Snickers and have a great best friend! Well done Santa!
NOTHING cuter in the world than seeing a little girl holding her brand new puppy for the first time! so precious. hope you have many amazing years with your furry new best friend :)
This is as nuch of a Christmas must-see for me as It's a Wonderful Life!! I love to watch the kids because they are so respectful and sweet and the parents put so much into the surprise!
I'm not kidding, this really did make me cry cause I remember i was that age when I got my dog that looked like that and it was the best day of my life... Merry Christmas everyone
A breath of fresh air, to see everyone happy at Christmas. You are very lucky indeed. Hope all of your Christmas' are like this moment!!! Cheers from Texas
Two favorite moments in this video: When the mother doesn't want to be filmed (LOL!) and when the little girl gets excited when she finds out the dog is 1/2 poodle!! I love the way you guys surprised your kids. They were so gracious, too.
I loved that, "Santa also dropped this off" Then both of the kids heads turn at the same time with a stunned look :) it was so cute. A really cute puppy too :)
Oh my gosh! We adopted a very old Schnauzer, and he is blind and deaf! We would have loved to see him when he was a puppy! Enjoy your new family member!
Your son is adorable. He's so patient. He hasn't been able to hold Snickers yet because of your daughter and yet he remains calm. I don't know if I'd be able to remain calm. Snickers is adorable. You have lovely and beautiful children. Merry Christmas from Australia!
God bless families! This is what our society is missing today--FAMILIES! If you wish to change the world start a family, raise your children to love family life and each other!!!!!!!
When l was a kid, allergies prevented us from having a dog. Fortunately my allergy to dogs abated and my wife and l have 3 Dachshunds with whom we share our hearth, heart and home. This was a cute video and that dog has a great family to love and receive love.
And now they’re probably a senior and junior in high school respectively. And snickers, she probably has a brother or sister by now because she’s 10 years old which isn’t too bad for a Malti-Poo!
This reminds me of when me and my two brothers and sister got Holly ( German short hair pointer) we got her either on Christmas Eve or a couple days before :) I always wanted a dog so im glad I have her even thow she's kind of crazy, and its been a couple years now and I still love her!
