Couple of things: 1. I love that y'all are policing your shells instead of just leaving them laying. 2. How do you see your bead with the GoPro mounted to the top of your barrel?
What y’all are doing is amazing. Some of my best memory’s are hunting and fishing with my dad. He passed away about a month and half ago. And watching these videos. Makes me feel good that other kids get to have the same memory’s I have. Keep up the good work. Don’t take anything for granted. Love the videos!!
It does my heart good to see you fine young men out hunting and enjoying the great outdoors. Keep on hunting and owning firearms. This is a Real American Heritage: Hunting !
I started following y'all on the Lake Mead updates, and got hooked on your channel from there. Now this video from 2017 pops up on my feed, and I can't help but click on the title, even before realizing it's Sin City Outdoors.... I grew up in rural AZ, gettin out there (mostly) bird hunting, but some rabbit as well. Seeing you guys out there, at that age, reminds me of my days doing the same. God bless y'all. Edit to add: I don't know if you guys have done any Hunter Safety Course or similar, but in the video, y'all show some pretty good responsibility, awareness, and handling. Cheers
You guys are dong well because your Dad is teaching you, and mostly, you are listening to him. It does pay off. Good video, you can only get better with this.
We noticed that too! Awesome...love to see people getting their kids outdoors/hunting, and also showing respect for the land and animals. Props to you all!
Nice video young man. Good safety-mindedness and hunting ethics. Also great to see you credit each of your hunting companions with their effort and success.Give credit to your mentor who taught you well. Also the landscape there is moonlike but with shrubs and rabbits. The night sky must be amazing. I'm East Coast Canada eh. Peace out amigo.
I grew up hunting Jack rabbits and cotton tails. I don't know about desert rabbits but we always ate them and they were delicious. Cook over an open fire with garlic powder, salt, pepper, butter and some red pepper flakes. Serve we with fried potatoes and onions , corn on the cob. Call the law.
Hello Adrian Buddy ! Very nice,exciting,thrilling video,when i was your age,hunting rabs was a fun,very challenging,i see u becoming a great sportsman(hunter)! Keep it up.👍👍
Great vid!!, i remember way back well im older now but the .410 shotgun the 1st time i shot a .410 shotgun was my pops had one "idk if they still make them maybe still idk" but it was a over and under two barrels the top was for a .22 cal round and the bottom was for a .410 shotgun shell
You guys are awesome hunters. I live in Phoenix and I hunt Jackrabbits and cottontails. Our desert looks a lot like your desert. I'm not anywhere near as successful are you guys are. Thanks for the hints. Kudos!
Yo lil homie you guys make some nice videos keep up the good work my lil boy is 4yrs old and he loves watching your videos. Nice hunting!! From Longview Tx and keep making them videos.
Good video, guys. I live in northern Nevada, where black tail jacks are abundant. I use a .22lr or a 12 gauge shotgun. You guys are trooping in that heat!
Great video guys and some great shooting. The rabbits over there have much longer back legs than the rabbits here in Northern Ireland. Take care and happy hunting
Yes I surely liked this video and the people in it. Being contentious is a great gift. I saw people shoot animals like they have to avenge themselves. Hunting four rabbits is enough for one meal. This way you preserve this specie and keep it from being extinct. I wish all hunters would do the same.
I've watched a couple of your rabbit vids and have a tip for you, both for safety and for hunting. wear shot-resistant glasses, in yellow. trust me. not only will it help if rocks or debris backsplash at you, but I found the yellow helps me spot running rabbits in the middle of brown and green. like it just brightens up everything and movement is really pronounced. I use the same technique when I duck hunt. helps me line up the shot better.
After the second frost I hope to out there harvesting a few burgers, sausage links, and breakfast ppatties. The magic number might be 5 to 7 to lake the burgers and more got the links.
mr.allihatergar Yarc jackrabbits don't hibernate, don't live in true dens, and move around a lot. they also are completely fine at night or day. it's pretty cool hunting rabbit in the summer. plus it's a great workout.
Here in Phoenix on the outskirts I have seen some massive Jacks. Honestly almost the size of a medium dog. They were huge. I have heard that they aint good to eat cuz they have parasites but I shot a pretty decent sized one not to big not to small, perfect eating size. We crockpotted it and it was so flippin good. It was like a red meat whereas cottontails are like a white meat. Same with dove, it's like a red meat and quail is like a white meat. I love dove and Jackrabbit.
Sin City Outdoors I like that they have backstraps and they got quite a bit of meat on them. I usually see a few almost everytime I go but it's hard to sneak up on them with the shotgun. But yeah I like em better than cottontails. Not to mention there's a lot of cottontails around here but a lot of them are small. A couple cottontails I've shot they looked pretty decent size cuz I kicked em up so they looked bigger hoppin away. Then when I got up to em Im like gosh dang it I shot a flippin baby.
paul luma Jack's are delicious! only good meat is the back straps and back legs. but they are amazing on the BBQ and the straps are great fried or sauteed
I want a jackrabbit pelt for taxidermy mounting so bad but I'm east coast and those hares are nowhere near here. I'm trying to make an "authentic" jackalope ;)
Hi Guys, how far is that place from Las Vegas and which site it is? We want to do some rabbits hunting also, just bought my 12gauge at Walmart and we ready. Nice hunting video by the way! Thank you.
Great video! You guys need to come back to Southern AZ and hunt some more pigs. Talk about a nuisance species. 114 degrees ... wonder those bunnies where moving.
What’s the best time of the day to hunt rabbits? I use to spot them around 5AM or 7PM in the Sonoran desert but you seem to be spotting plenty. Does it make a difference? Ps. What’s the best time of the year to do it. Regards
What number she'll do you guys usually use? I always buy the 7 1/2 shells just because they are cheap, and they usually get the job done, but you guys take some pretty far shots and drop them.
Nice shooting guys, my goodness i would hate to be a clay pigeon with you lot of crack shot's :-) .Congrat's Julian those 410's are also good for snakes. My Deceased Grand Ma was deadly with one of those on her old farm saved my little sister's one summers day God bless her soul. Good to see you all out there popping bunny's. Do you guy's ever use cross bows by any chance? anyway good hunting and safe travels :-)
I don't know about hunting rabbits in the dead of Summer we usually hunt rabbits in the winter time I'm worried about ticks or yellow fever would you guys definitely have a great father
we have several unprotected species here in TX, people eat them or mount them but we have animal guys out there protesting all the time BTW my coyote is mounted I'll send you couple pics via Facebook
your aim has gotten better, lol I still like your other rabbit video where your chasing that rabbit all over all you see is JR run by than a gun shot than he runs back the other way than another gun shot lol
I remember We were as young as you Guys are and we used to go hunting, But Brother Believe me, one day ( some people ) comes when you look back and you regret killing other animals specially when you go out and come back with so many Lifes lost and you just want to eat one of them!!! If you can give life then you should indeed take it too. But noon of us can. So just dont shoot many, just so much that you need. Thank's for sharing. Nice video...:)
