Kids in the Hall: Buddy Cole 11- Outing Celebrities 

I've seen this skit hundreds of times since it first aired. It always cracks me up. Scott really is a total badass as Buddy Cole. The true Alpha-Queen.

As a kid growing up in the rural Midwest, watching such an out and proud gay man fearlessly stand for who he was empowered me to do the same. I had zero idea until later how much bravery it took for him to do that. But for me, it paved the way that one day I too would fearlessly stand as a gay man and defend who I am, and god damn it if every time I do I don't think the words "I feel like Farrah Fawcett in Extremities!"

I love Scott's love for playing Buddy. He's having the time of his life in these sketches.

I think this was the best Buddy Cole monologue of them all.

Oh if Scott had guest starred on In Living Color and had him, Damon Wayans and David Alan Grier have the Men On skits with Buddy Cole. They'd be a riot.

I wish Canadian comedy sketch shows nowadays were as good as this. It seems our best talent is running to the States to be famous.

He certainly clocked Eddie Murphy.

I'm looking for the skit where Buddy Cole is talking about the drag queens taking over the city. It has the line, "And I said, aren't you a little fat to be Diana Ross? That was my first mistake." I loved it.

Oh, Buddy...none of us wanted Liberace to be gay!

I want to use that last line some time in my life.

2:23 - I never got this "Charge!" joke. Maybe because The Kids in the Hall were slightly before my time, but to this day I don't understand what's funny about it.

Even if all 5 Kids weren't brilliant, the KITH would have been worth it just as a vehicle for Buddy Cole😅

I thought of this monologue when Richard Armitage FINALLY came out...

OMG! I didn't have quite the words to describe Diceman but Scott nails it perfectly here. He's phony and gimmicky. His schtick stops being funny around the time you turn 16 and realize that, once the shock value of what he says is depleted, there just ain't much there. And then his act just gets boring.

I remember that one. It's called "Thrift Store". Scott is playing a character named Raj and they talk about how weird their days were. Unfortunetaly I don't have it to upload.

Despite how much things have changed for the LGBTQ community, the basic premise of these jokes is just as relevant today as it was 30 years ago 😂
