Who else took this video and applied it to work lunches? ☺️I just ordered my planet lunch box and copying some of those lunches and using it for my lunches for work 😂 Amanda is a goddess when it comes to recipes and food ideas ❤️

Such an awesome momma! It's horrible you have to explain yourself, isn't it? But I guess that's what comes along with being on social media. We all just need to understand that every one is different and as long as we are doing what's best for OUR children. That's all that matters. ANYWAY! Those lunch boxes are so neat and you can fit A LOT in them. I might have to invest in one for my oldest (8yo) sometimes a sandwich and a few sides with a drink just isn't enough! Thanks for sharing, great lunch ideas. Keep em comin!!

Such neat lunch ideas! I like making hand pies for ours. They are versatile with sweet or savory options, the savory ones go great with soup in the winter time. We waited until our kids were 6 to send them off to kindergarten, with the way some people acted, you'd think we'd subjected them to torture having to spend another year at home. LOL! Now we homeschool & partner with a local charter school, people just think we're really cuckoo for cocoa puffs now! You've gotta do what you've gotta do, people will always have their opinions, great & small, luckily you already know how to keep it real! ;)

I think it's great what you've done for lunches! And honestly the treats you do send are so small that it's perfect! Very. Well balanced! My mom would take us out of school on occasion even as my sister and I got older and would give us a day where we had one on one time with her and we never went to school on our birthday either! I have many memories of my days spent with my mom out of school that I cherish more then anything!!!

Loved this idea for lunches. We have free school lunches thus year but after that I'll probably make lunches for my daughter. She would love the segments and little nibble bits.

Love the ideas. I'm sending my 2 year old to early preschool a couple times a week and I'm going to start having to get his lunches ready. it's kinda overwhelming. thank you for the ideas.

Oh I love this kind of videos, there is something weirdly pleasant about seeing how different school lunch what kids like to eat and the whole school system around the globe is different. Hope to soon see an part 2 :)

AMAZING VIDEO! My toddler is the pickiest eater (he's also a chemotherapy patient) so that is mainly why BUT this video gave me great ideas and I really want that lunch box now! So great for appointments and outings!!!

This has some awesome ideas! My boys are 7 and 9 and eat like little birds so packing their lunches gets kind of boring. They love taking bagels with cream cheese or pancakes for lunch.

Loved this, we've been using the lunch bots one which is kind of similar. My oldest is 9 and can still get over emotional so I have no issues with giving all my kids days off when they need it :)

I haven't tried pasta yet, she would really only eat noodles with butter...and I feel odd about sending that in, but I may try it! They do send 2 small containers that go with it, I forgot to include them in the video. This would help with pasta for sure though.

Yes I am thankful. He's very picky as well so we thought it might help. He gets a snack right after school just in case he didn't like lunch. I would so try again but he refuses 😂😂😂 they don't have the option there?

Great lunches. I'm so confused by Canada's kindergarten though here in the U.S. Kids don't start kindergarten until 5 years old. They can't even attend kindergarten if they don't turn 5 before August 31st of the school year. Very interesting.

When I was a kid all I remember eating for lunchtimes at school wad pizza pops, fruit rolls up and dunkaroos! Haha my mom definitely did not go the healthy route for me.

I was so looking forward to a video like this and thanks for the lunchbox idea. My son is in 1st grade so he's been in school for 3 years already, but I still struggle with lunches. I don't want to send him with the same lunch everyday, although when he eats lunch at school he will literally eat the same thing everyday...hmm Kids i tell ya. lol.

Isn't it amazing how kids will do that?! I say enjoy the ride while it lasts! Esmé has been eating cucumbers almost daily...we shall see how long I can milk it LOL

My daughter started JK this past week. I did mostly cheese/turkey bites/crackers/carrots and then yogurt drink/muffin/apple. When she came home, I noticed she barely ate half. She said "that thing dings too fast" aka the bell rings that they are to stop eating and head outside to play. I am divided as to whether I should be annoyed that her eating time is cut in half or if I should be happy that they play outside twice a day. Either way, she comes home starved...and has finished her lunch at home every day. How about Esme?

My little guy comes home with extra food too and he devours the left over lunch as soon as he's off the bus! He's also been eating suppers like a champ which has forever been a struggle with him and his little sister- she's also started eating supper really well thanks to always having her eye on him 😏 kids! Do you find your daughter eats supper better too, or was that not a struggle for you?

Oh no, really? Esmé did mention that the teacher enforces a quiet time during a part of lunch (I think anyway) where the kids don't speak and focus on eating. For the time being, she's been eating all of her lunch, excluding a few bits here and there. I'm quite surprised! But as things happen with children, this could all change this week :)

Those lunch boxes seriously can pack a lot of food! I might have to get one for when I send my toddler off to Meme's house and I know she gets chicken nuggets and French fries instead of what I would prefer she eat (although grandparents are allowed to spoil their babies sometimes) 😂

Lovely lunches, although probably too much sweets/junk food, but I feel ya. I stress constantly that my little one isn't getting enough nutrients, she is only 13 mo, I can only imagine when she's older! 😂

No critic, but is it common to put 'desserts' in the kids' lunch everyday? To me this dessert is candy, and we only eat candy on Saturday...☺️ Norwegians eat a lot of bread with butter, meat or cheese or both for lunch. My kids would probably think of Esmes lunchbox as a treat, all together 😂

+FruMyrland cultural differences for sure! We're not big on desserts at home but the kids at school are, so I add it in for lunch. Its awful being the odd man out when all your friends are enjoying a treat!

I must know.. Does she eat all of it? I have a 4 year old and he eats like a bird! I wish I could get him to eat this much! I am lucky to get him to eat all of that in an entire day. Awesome lunches though! I will be stealing some ideas for my guy. Love your videos!

Ok Amanda leakage is unacceptable! You need to try the bentgo lunch bento box . Its amazing i have been using it for 2nd yr now and its perfect! No leakage ever! There is a little sauce spot for sauces or small tiny food and often i do asian dumplings with soy sauce and they never leak. Was this sponsored by them or something bc that bento box needs to go 😜

Please, do not take this wrong, as it is not intended as criticism. This is one mamma to another here. I just wanted to make a friendly suggestion...You may be putting in more sugar than you realize sometimes. For example the sugars in fruits, jams, muffins, graham crackers, dried raisins, etc. However, I also want to point out that those lunches are beautiful and full of color and various textures. Who wouldn't want those lunches? You are such a caring, loving mommy. Keep up the great work, and thank you for sharing your great ideas! Looking forward to more videos.

I don't mind your input. I'm always looking for new ways to get her to eat different foods - and you're right, getting in those veggies is a struggle! This week Esmé asked for broccoli, I'll try it! I will say that now that she's seeing what other kids are eating we're able to try new foods.

What every left over food from there lunch in there school day will not finish there lunch if day have a lot of food you make ånd å snack and å juice ånd å color water where is the lunch for Monday and Tuesday lunch you are talking about lunch on wedsenday ånd thuresday and on Friday what time do she have to be at school every day with Time do you have to pick her up from school

My issue with lunches is that kids don't eat all that I send. I still send variety but Not this much quantity. Does your kids eat all of it? Just subscribed!

Nice lunchs idea except the fact that Esme has treats every day and for me it's not à good idea. m'y daughter has treats "chocolate or candy " Just on friday or during week ends .

They WERE the best, my favourite were the chocolate chip cookies with chocolate icing! My neice was eating some the other day and they are not the same anymore. I was very disappointed lol

I got really excited when we drove through Canada a few years back & found Dunkaroos at a store! I ate like 6 packs in 2 days, it was 12 days before my wedding....whoopsie.
