I have a Autistic sister and she’s taking all college courses throughout her entire high school career and I’m going to start in my Junior year… she’s smarter than me and she might graduate early. She looks up to me and I look up to her. We support each other, and it came to the point where we can’t be separated or we won’t function without each other. She falls under despair and my anxiety kicks in that she might get hurt.

When i was younger i thought people having autism was cool cause i thought they had quirks my mom was a teacher for special kids and she had a student who had autism and the kid was able to know the day you were born if you told him your birth date.

The beginning is ridiculous. My little brother has autism, and he's one of the smartest kids I know. He's in 3rd grade and can already do simple algebra. I asked him that if 3x=12, what is x, and he immediately answered 4. He can beat my grandma and my dad at games that are older than my dad, like Rummikub. He may be autistic, but he isn't stupid, he just comes to the answer in a different way and proceeds faster.

This reminds me of the time my brother and his friend bullied me, like physically hurting me, like when I am trying to get out of the bus at my stop,they would poke me in the eye, and holding me down, so I can't go. They called me short,stupid,slow, and someone that deserves only hate! Everyday, I would cry, and one time it got so far, that my brothers friend punched me so hard in my stomach that I threw up when I got home, and it was so painful, I told my mom, and she got really mad at my brother, but they still did not change and for the rest of kindergarten I was bullied by them. I'm glad that everyone who knows I'm autistic doesn't even seem to slightly care. Though I was bullied in middle school, transferring high schools has made my life much easier, and I'm surrounded by friends😁 I'm not taking what idiots say or do to heart, because I know they have their own issues... The whole plot is actually very believable. If the older sibling felt his brother was getting more time and attention from mom and dad, then resentment can build up. Of course you can also get the complete opposite and have a overprotective sibling with a hero complex.

My moms fiancé’s daughter had autism and she is really smart she had trouble using her words sometimes but she is really good at memorizing things so don’t shame people with autism or ex. bc it’s they just learn in a different way!❤️❤️❤️
