Lizzie was a true villan, she knew Nigel was trying to protect kids but she only cared about how it affected their "relationship". I mean I'd rather be with someone trying to save the world than be a controlling partner stopping them from doing what their job was.
Too true. I mean comparing to real and adult lifes situation....imagine policemen, doctors, firemen girlfriends/fiances/wifes getting mad because "saving people from fire, shooting etc is more important than I am" I mean WTF?!
One of the reasons why Lizzie was Numbah Devine and has the mind control helmet. Corrupt Numbah 1 to do his bidding after becoming Earths Representative for the Galactic KND
That and she led him on a wild goose chase jusy to get a lick of icing from the delight children from down the lanes cake. So no loyalty to him or his cause.
I disagree, the Kankers are better, but only slightly. The fact that they are villains makes them better characters but you probably meant to compare them on a moral level. Still, at least the Kankers wanted to save the Eds from the other kids in the movie. Lizzie doesn't even care if Nigel is fighting a villain. If she wants a boyfriend that spends a lot of time with her fine, don't make Nigel stoo from saving the world or himself. She should've either ended the relationship sooner or sucked it up. I never understood what Nigel saw in her. He has talent and status. There must be better girls for him.
I wouldn’t be surprised if that was the original case, but changed it. I don’t remember if the delightful children ever had an episode where they weren’t in a weird hive mind. And I think they thought giving #1 a girlfriend like Lizzie would give them more jokes
@@tgiacin435They had one episode where the football helmet Delightful Children guy joined the KND as a spy. Been years since I watched it but IIRC the KND knew it was him the whole time and tricked him.
My grandma and I used to watch cartoons together a lot. One of our favorites was kids next door. But every time Lizzie was on screen, she would complain. I specifically remember one day that she told me Lizzie’s annoying voice and antics will be the death of her. She passed in her sleep a few nights later and I wholeheartedly believe she wasn’t exaggerating how bad Lizzie is. So yes, Lizzie killed my grandmother. FU Lizzie and RIP grandma.
Lizzie: the villain who literally made every other villain including Father and the Delightful Children from Down the Lane look like saints in comparison to her just by her actions in one episode EDIT: a missed opportunity to also claim that Lizzy both looks like Nigel’s Dad and Constance who is a DCFDTL member, aka one of Nigel’s *forcefully* adoptive cousins

Loved how in the Galactic KND Animatic, a big secret is revealed about her. I'll let you guys go & find it for yourselves, but it does explain her antagonism.

Her only good moment was probably when the Delightful Children got her to act as decoy for their escape from Nigel (not a good start), but later saved him by crashing into their real birthday cake and everyone gets splash of cake.
number 1 was being a typical kid at the start..it wasn't nice ofc but it's nowhere near FORCING someone to do things for or with you especially permanently and alienating them from their friends.....that's what classic abusers do. Then leaves him when he's in trouble? I'm half into the video right now and don't see Nigel even close to bad as Lizzy.
I mean if my gf was Lizzy, I wouldn’t want to be seen in public with her. It wasn’t even personal, he was just being a kid not wanting to be seen with a girl. Especially since his friends make fun of him, it’s understandable why he’d try to hide it
@@thelonecourier3439 i have a theory Henry acts like this it's because of how his younger brother is the golden child and henry acts out to get attention but instead of asking him if anything's wrong his parents tell him to stop being horrid tbh i feel sympathy to Henry
If the animatics for the Galactic Kids Next Door were to be taken into account, Lizzy Should know how important his missions are, considering she's part of the GKND
One theory I have about her is that since she's really a secret undercover alien agent with the GKND, she was sent on a mission to find out if Numbuh 1 is worthy of being with the GKND. Her rudeness could just be a test for him to see if he can handle being with the GKND. And her obliviousness to how important everything the KND does could be an act so they don't figure out who she really is. Also, it's possible that the real reason why she dumped him was because she finished her mission and had to report back to the GKND. But she wasn't allowed to tell him about the GKND, so she dumped him instead of telling him the truth. However, because she looked and sounded sad as she left him, it's looks like deep down she really did love him and didn't want to leave, but had to because of her mission. It's the kinda thing where an agent has been with someone for so long, that they actually did fall in love with them. Also, because she warned Numbuh 3 and Numbuh 4 about the GKND coming and telling them to get literally everyone off the planet, she realized she was working with the wrong people and wants to help stop them. So if the GKND ever comes out, it's looks like she'll a much bigger role, might be helpful to the KND and we might see a nicer side of her

I like how throughout this video, right when you're about to wrap up the conclusion of the episode review, you follow it up with something even worse. Lizzie may be worse than DW...maybe.
I like that they modeled the principal after Colonel Klink. And the fact that the principal was the one. Who hit the destination switch. That is something that Colonel Klink would actually do. Lol
Having never watched a minute of this show... I kinda hate everybody. I mean why did the girls on the team know about the "boyfriend helmet" as if it's just a normal thing that every girl would know because that's just what they do to boyfriends? Even the "innocent" people are sus.
Not justifying these horrible moments but it was a show from the 90s (I think) so it kinda comes with the territory. Not saying it’s ok but abusive couples were seen as funny before we really realized how much they can ruin your life
I remember being surprised when she came back after her debut episode. I wasn't used to cartoons having continuity, and this show was one of the first I'd seen to lean into that kind of thing.
I’m surprised that Boyfriend Helmets weren’t banned. I can see it breaking many consent laws. But this is a world some loser bans root beer and bottles up children because he has no life.
If I had a nickel for every time a cartoon about kids going to recess would homage Hogan's Heroes.... blah blah blah...weird it happened twice. You know the deal.
Not only Lizzie D.W. caillou and Jimmy are the worst characters but so is princess morbucks. The show would've been so much better if Lizzie didn't exist on the show to begin with it
Oh man. Lizzie! This is probably how my kindergarten and third grade crushes thought I’d be like as a girlfriend, lol. But seriously, as a kid I honestly never realised how toxic she was even when she literally forced Numbuh 1 to wear the boyfriend mind control helmet but as an adult it’s so disturbing not just for its purpose but for how it literally physically fuses to his head. Now I realise Lizzie is basically an incel in the body of a ten year old.
!Spoilers:! While lizzy was an absolute bastich, its also important to know that she is most definitely an Alien Vine creature from another planet. Odds are her attitude is considered "attractive" on her home world (Assuming it still exists, given the GKNDs known operations. For all we know, she might also be the last of her kind! Again, assuming the other knd Operative that was a tree isn't of the same species!). Also, Omgea L has to be one of the funniest things I have heard, along with "boogies!"
I never cared for the romance between Nigel and Lizzie because it felt like it lacked chemistry (I preferred Wally and Cookie). I had no idea their relationship was so toxic.
I have to wonder if Numbah 1’s resentment of his gf started sometime after Lizzy proved she doesn’t care about her bf’s job or his duties. I don’t want to justify toxicity but I’ve always wondered if he continues to date her because she’s constantly threatening him
4:05 to be fair they are corrupted organizations under fathers payroll and a terrible business selling ice cream to only adults which is terrible advertising since kids like ice cream more and adults can get buckets of ice cream at the supermarket.
In regards to the KND not having a ton of money, obviously Lizzie didn’t really think their dinner date through since the average child doesn’t have a lot of cheddar on them on a regular basis.

What's worse is that in the same episode they brokeup, Numbuh 362 was practically throwing herself at Numbuh 1. But honestly, what 4th grade couple is gonna be the perfect match, let alone a good one?
