Noelle is so sweet! She pretty much liked all the stuff she watched, i think she was the only one who didn't feel weird about those shows. She really has a very open and curious mindset with a lot of imagination :)
I like Noelle too. I relate to her cause I think all of Sid and Marty’s stuff was weird but somewhat enticing in escapism I don’t know how to explain it
Other stuff from the 80s were also scary and scarred me for life. Those scary Jim Henson movies scared me so much that I have to put the word "Show" in front of the word Muppet.
My mom had a vhs tape of a bunch of Sid and Marty Krofft shows. I was around their age when I saw these shows, and I absolutely loved them! Land Of The Lost terrified me though 😂😂
Lidsville was so weird. It was like they were trying to recreate pufnstuf but with no one filling the pufnstuf role. Kind of like if someone tried to recreate Barney but with no Barney
I loved these shows when I was a kid. In hindsight, Sid and Marty Krofft must have been on some kinda trip when they created these. Sigmund and the Bugaloos were my favorites.
I'm 60 years old,I grew up watching these shows,I didn't know anyone who thought they were creepy, although the kids reactions were somewhat comical,I feel sorry for them, compared to some of the perverted stuff there is today, good old Saturday Morning, get up get a bowl 🥣 cereal, and plop down in front of the T.V. for 4 hours of good fun.👌👌👌🖖☺️ If I only had a Delorian time machine.
I love your channel! I'm 54 and I remember all these shows from my childhood😄 My favorite was "Land of the Lost" followed by " H R Pufnstuff" thanks for the brining up memories!
I think she might be 12 in this episode. I guess by now she might be in teens react which just makes me feel extra old bc I remember when she first came on the show.
If those kids thought that Sid and Marty Kroft's kids shows were weird. Imagine what they would've thought if they showed them The Brady Bunch variety hour by Sid and Marty Kroft.

I wish you'd have shown them the opening for the Land of the Lost remake. Some of the old Kroft shows are some of my earliest childhood memories; I loved the Land of the Lost but the Sleestaks scared the bejeezus out of me with that weird hissing sound they made!
I started freaking out cause that one kid kept saying cgi when it was just a green screen and bad editing (of course the editing would be bad because of the differences in technology and how it changed over the years)
These kids are so sophisticated. At the same time they’re children and don’t realize that these shows were the only thing going, and our imaginations helped make up for the primitive special effects. The creep factor is another story.
54 now. I loved all those shows as a kid. Especially H.R. Puffinstuff. I find it interesting that we didn't find him creepy. I see why the kids say that but it didn't bother us at all.
3:15 i find it hilarious that Lucas was right about Pufnstuf. They only aired 17 episodes, after those the show was over the reason was that “It Was Just Too Expensive”
My brother always thought i was weird bc i lllloooovvvvveeeed these shows. I never thought they were creepy lmao. Im 28 and ill ask friends now and they have no damn idea what im talking about.
I'm 60 and my sister and I watched HR Pufnstuf and Land of the Lost every Saturday🙂. I also remember Sigmond and the Sea Monsters. Notable actors: Jonathan Whittaker, Mary Wickes, Charles Nelson Reilly, Butch Patrick, Martha Raye, Billy Barty, Jack Wilde
