Railtrack (the old Network Rail) wanted to make this crossing an AHBC by 2008, but they were abolished in 2002.

It's getting upgraded to an MCB-OD soon, as the whole area's being re-signalled. I think Pembrey & Burry Port's signal box is staying though, as it's quite a big signal box.
