Kiefer’s dad, the great Donald Sutherland lived in my hometown in Outokumpu Finland when he was very young. Out of all places, he lived there briefly studying something related to mining, it’s an old mining town. 😊😊

For me, "Goodbye California" happened in 1988. The early 70's were absolutely wonderful there, but they have been traded away. Don't look back.

I remember seein you at a bar in Sherman Oaks 12 years back or so. Its sad but California is not what it once was. I left and am back for a family event, but will leave once all is finished. The sparkle is gone. Great song Keifer- I miss the OLD Days in the Canyons too buddy

I grew up in El Segundo from the 50's to 1978 and it was the best life from playing baseball and all my years of surfing. I now live in Montana and I am loving the beauty of the state. The only unfortunate thing is all the Californian moving up here. George in Montana

Born in California 1959. Lived there in the absolute best years of California. We had it all! A golden state for sure but no longer. Left in 1996, right move. All democratic states have been destroyed. A shame but signs of the times.

Always liked Kiefer. 24 was a really good series. His comments on professional and social issues always fell on my side of the fence. He's a Good Canadian.
