Kiefer, things feel beyond words. I grew up watching your wonderful father and you at the movies. I truly believe that your father's work in Ordinary People saved lives and helped (and continues to help) many families over the years who have also been beyond words. Although incredible in all of his works, to me, this was his crowning achievement and greatest contribution to humanity. I remember reading the news when Donald invited fans to send postcards to him when he was given the honor of his own postage stamp in Canada. I nearly sent him a postcard, but figured he was deluged with cards and well wishers and it wasn't easy to find a Canada stamp in the United States. Looking back, I should have sent a postcard. Maybe it would have brought him a smile to receive an extra postcard from America. I felt it was very generous of him to offer this opportunity when he was given this great honor. He thought of others first. This incredible man is within you and so will always be with you. I wish you and your family peace and the best, always. When you are ready to welcome happiness again, may you remember frequently all of the happiest times. It is an honor to know of your father and of you through your works and music.
