KIEL Kiel Canal lock naval ships, container ships and cargo ships on February 8th, 2022.
There's a lot going on in the lock of the Kiel Canal. After an accident occurred in the canal at Rendsburg in the morning hours and shipping traffic had to be temporarily suspended, numerous ships subsequently backed up in Brunsbüttel and also here in Kiel, all of which now, with some reinforcement, passed the lock and the Nord-Baltic Canal pass.
This video was made on Tuesday afternoon, February 8th, 2022. Numerous ships passed through the lock in Kiel-Holtenau within an hour. Including naval ships, cargo ships, container ships and a ro-ro cargo ship.
