Trippier has done a fantastic job for us, one who took us from the grinder and saved us, with those two free kicks, which launched us on one of the greatest comebacks ever (as a fan you know how poisoned the whole organisation and the vibe in the team was…).
Without a doubt!!!! Fk, trips was the signing that Al never forget...such a key player, at that time. He saved us wif that free kick...that goal gave us belief!!! I wish that lad well what ever he does!!! 👌👍
It has become clear when KT came he improved the quality in dire times and for that he has loads of credit, but the quality has gone through the roof with free kicks, tino on the right etc, so he no longer for me has the impact, legs etc and is mistake prone
We should play hardball with Fraser, nobody else wants him so if he wants to play he needs to go to Southampton and they may not want him next year after his contract runs out. With Tripps it’d be sad to see him go but I’d have a hard time believing he’d move abroad again. Colin was a legend 🖤🤍🖤🤍
I hope that people wanting Howe for England has given all the board a nudge to show how good he is- I think Howe (and his team) is one of the best things to happen to the club for a long time.
I would look at all other loan offers from any other club and even if slightly less than Southampton are offering then send Fraser there. Or let Southampton know other offers are available to us and that they are at risk of losing him unless they buy him outright. As we do not have to accept their loan offer and give them the upper hand. He is still our player/business asset and we can decide who we want to have him. If he is in fact wanting to play that card of running his contract down. I would sooner take 45% wage cover for his last year to another club to force Southamptons hand, than lose him for free in a year and let Southampton win that race. If Southampton really value him then they won't let us loan him to another club, and pay for him now, surely?
Sorry, but I always thought trip was a bit overrated. I don't know how he made the English side. To me, at times he seems more interested in helping score goals instead of having the primary focus of stopping them. He gets caught out of position and I've seen him get beat too regularly by midling players on 1 v 1s. But, I thought with the exception of the two Italians, the NC back line was a bit slow.
If Trippier leaves I will be gutted may as well just release Fraser from his contract RIP Colin Lock such a vital member to our club community will be sadly missed
If it was simione or Jose mourinio then yes let them have a say on transfers because there proven winners but Howe should not be dictating to the board he has won nothing and last season was not just down to injuries his tactics sticking with long staff was his fault
Disagree Howe has done wonders for Newcastle I think he should have a say at end of the day, see if he can push on this season then review at end of this season coming
There was paper talk of Manchester City paying 80 million for Bruno and letting us take Babb on loan for one year. That deal will not happen, Bruno is not for sale and if he was he would be well in excess of 100 million. As for Babb, if it is not a loan with option to buy, again no chance as we are not a development/feeder club.
Not to sure if I agree for trips to go still think he has something to offer Newcastle he motivates the team and has good leadership qualities lets see if he actually does leave and take it from there
Tripper, is useless. All act, no drive, no attack. His corners are pathetic, can anyone remember a goal coming from his cross or corner ?? I can't. Useless in Germany. A. Gordon would I feel have made a huge difference .. why Southgate never brought him on (4 minutes is not enough) with a chance and time on the field is a mystery to me.
@@johnnyboy11000 Jonnyboy. But what happened in those many assists ? I watched him very closely. Very short waste of time passes. Not gaining anything, time after time. When Gordon came on in his stead, the game transformed. Once he was quite good. This is why Southgate chose him, memories of the past. If like me you recorded the games in Germany there wasn't a single moment of inspiration. No wow, no Beckham passes, nothing like a shadow of what he once was without the accuracy,, speed or precision nothing all missing. He should be sold for whatever we can get and quick before others realise he is done for. We got him towards the very end of what he could do, and that day has come. Second rate and should pack it in, but not before we sell him on.
If he refuses to go to another club on loan leave him in the reserves for the remainder of his contract, same with Hayden although I thought he agreed to terminate his contract early. Tripps experience is important I would probably keep him
@@AdamPearson1242we’re probably paying most of his wages anyway. Why give the little baby what he wants. Let him rot in the reserves or send him somewhere else.
Im unconvinced a bit by Eddie..looking for a soft exit? If he messes up like 10th at xmas then we'll want him gone anyway , but by then we have to pay him, not the FA paying us. Lets see, but its all very messy atm
I'm surprised you're not blaming fat controller Ashley for selling Minto and Anderson?? Don't see how the fat controller has control over Eddie Howe talking a hissy fit at Ryan Fraser and we should play him and if Eddie is still holding a grudge against him Southampton isn't the only other team send him somewhere else call Southampton bluff
all that money and newcastle still have not spent much so far ? brought a couple goalkeepers in and a free transfer and some youth players we arent going to win anything bringing in free players
