Montreal Protocol was earlier not dealing with Green House gases but after Kigali amendment in Montreal protocol, now Montreal seeks to phase out HFC i.e. a GHG. It means now Montreal deals with both ODS and GHG.

It is the UV- β rays that the stratospheric Ozone is conducive to absorb. When the ozone is formed in the vicinity of troposphere it act as a deterrent to the long wave radiation that earth emit back into atmosphere and beyond.
