Hi, thank you for this wonderful video 🙏🙏🙏 It brings so many great memories b’se I went to school in Jinja and grew up on Kisinja road near the source of the Nile River. We literally could walk to the source of the Nile and take pictures. Now I live in the USA for over twenty five years but I still miss Jinja my city 😢 Kampala doesn’t even come close people!!! Jinja back in the day was and Industrial Town with all a lot factories. Nile Beer, Soda, Cotton( fabric factory) Sugar Cane etc. Nothing was imported from “China,” It so sad that this town has been neglected and you see every one running to that congested city of Kampala!!! Please, this brother is so right!!! Go visit it for yourself, or buy property. You’ll not regret it. Thank you Brother and keep showing this beautiful Town👏👏👏

We lived in a bungalow on Kiira Road in the 1956 onwards period. I believe it was near the Sunset Hotel on the banks of the Nile. We used to watch our school bus leave the yard over in Nyanza Textile factory and rumble over the Owen Falls Dam bridge and then wait at the top of the drive to be picked up for school! Wonderful happy memories of living in beautiful Jinja. Our leisure time was spent always at Amber Court Swimming Club. We were from the U.K. and our Father was working initially on Owen Falls Dam construction before joining Nyanza Textiles. Thank you so very much for bringing memories back to life of Kiira Road

Someone in the comments from Korea is asking if Jinja is safe. Actually, it is very safe. Safer than Kampala in my opinion. Let me know in the comments where and when you want to visit and I can tell you where to stay with great security and services.

If it wasn't for the hotels to preserve nature (trees and grass), Ugandans would have destroyed everything like they destroyed Kampala. There are no trees or grass left in Kampala! Uganda has no public parks!
