A very simple case of misunderstanding. The phrase "work your ass off" is not an insult but it is not used commonly among regular Kenyans. So let's just say Jalongo used this phrase simply to say work very hard but it was not understood that way by the young man and his people. He sincerely feels Jalango insulted him because he helped him. He has a valid point when he says that because Jalango is an aspiring MP he needs to choose his words carefully and remember many look up to him.....valid point 👍 To confirm this guy has never even heard that phrase used before he is saying Jalango told him to go work his ass up 😵😵 the whole meaning changes.
This interviewer seems to be attacking Mboya more than interviewing him.Jalango is a very good man but as Mboya puts it, using correct words is very important coz not all people understand or welcome them.
This guy is so grateful and thankful,Jalango also is a very kind and humble man.... he's very clear to his point,he misunderstood Jalango the word "work your as off"...... media muache chocha mingi
I don't think there's anything wrong with what he said, I listened to every detail and he was trying to help this guy, ajitume....that's the only way out
Whaaaat?!he is mad because Jalango said go work your ass off that is a phrase in slang it simply means go work hard.Jameni…chill young man he wasnt abusing you at all.Just google the word and see.Don’t listen to friends who cant fathom the context of the phrase…wamekuchochea ati alikutusi and it wasnt the case.Wishing you all the best.
@@caesarmonge4090 ndo maana as Kenyans we have to get out there tujue mingi na tuache kukuwa na ushamba mingi... Even if it's not a Kenyan official language, it does mean go work hard. Pullshit u brother
Did I hear him say that 'Jalang'o 'ruining his life'...this is simply a case of misunderstanding the phrase. What Jalang'o meant and what the young man understood are totally different.
Jalongo helped the guy,he is thankful. He is just against being abused.Must you put people down and destroy there ego simply because you have helped them?
kuambiwa ''work your ass off''' sio matusi its a phrase meaning hustle hard.....this nigga issa dropout ndioo maana rent inamsumbua angesoma hangesema ametusiwa
Most People with money don't understand how someone sleeps hungry or lack rent, they results to thinking that those in lack are lazy and such....people earth is hard and depressing kuna watu talented hard working and hawana laini....think about this ..#jalango did community development yet ako redio.....imagine mtu alisomea journalism na Hana connection ...See. It's unfair to dismiss people as lazy and such. Am praying for everyone going through struggle and Hana connection...God will open doors for you.
Very true ...many are depressed in this hard times the rich people just judge the poor without going deep in the poor man's story ..the ignorance is too much that's why many people take their own lives ..no one understands us ...they only pretend to understand and help and before that they use insulting words
He appreciates alot for crying out loud,I heard him say thank you to jalang'o many times until even he stuck somewhere just trying to say ja ja ja jaaaalang'o to me the guy is grateful to jalang'o only that he was peased off with the "Ass up"which was used badly anyway
AMESEMA ALISHKURU A MILLION TIMES but still Media mnachocha na mnachachisha huyu boyz anakaa mbaya...Is it because hana dooh na status kama Jalas ama!? He is a human and can feel pissed by choice of words!! HATA KAMA UNASAIDIA USIDHARAU MTU...
Bro in this world especially in kenya, there is no chance to beggers...check buda unaboa sana wewe kwanza mimi niko the same age na wewe but najikaza kimwanaume na actually ningepata support kidogo yenye ulipewa first ningeshukuru na nitumie iyo opportunity kujenga base yangu ...unaaibisha vijanaa...tia bidii ndo ufikie stage ya Jalas ...yean badala uombe support ya kitu unadu we unaomba pesa ...nakuhurumia sana wewe ..
True, kunisaidia haimaanishi using whatever language you want on the person needing help. Tia bidii in English translate to work Hard and not work your ass off as the interviewer is trying to say. I'm in the US and still would be offended if someone told me the same so as to help me where I know I am working hard to make ends meet.
@@MikaelW254 hata mimi niko U.K na I'd still be offended if s'one used those words on me. Sisi si Wazungu periodt!!! Just becoz Wazungu hufanya kitu doesn't mean tuifate!!!
Exactly... This guy does not appreciate a single bit.. I guess he just wanted Jalang'o not to pay for him si ue can talk shit about him coz I don't understand what he is complaining about...
This young man is speaking!!!, Going broke doesn't mean you ain't working 💔We all know how Corona has done it...The Whole Phrase "Go work your as up" is Contemptuous

@@Meaw687 you are blowing everything out of proportion, Jalango is a good Man and he does not assist people just to show off, he's been there before and he knows what it means to lack, he only meant the guy should work hard.
I support the guy, he is very thankful and greatful to Jalang'o but he was offended by the word Jalang'o used on him. He has the right to because we are all different in how we take things. You don't have to speak whatever you want just because you are helping. I support this dude. BTG stop making him look unappreciative.
Very true u can say something to someone and they tk it very badly bt is something ur used to say,the best is always is to say pole did not mean to heart!
True there was a time a friend greeted us " Hi dawg "people really took it like he was insulting them, Atleast on my part I was ok coz I knew the meaning
Hii ni upuzi..kwani jalang;o ni wao? kama anajuana na yeye mbona aandike poster? He could contact him privately. he is just being incited or looking for clout
@@bishopkoileken5881 ... You don't have to. But, people should learn to work their ass off..if Jalang'o did not say that the guy would be preparing to write another poster. Those words are the motivation that he needed. Even your father will tell you that once he is done with educating you, one has to be a man, there is no two way about man.
@@bishopkoileken5881 ..whoever educated you is your father. Anyway, just continue harbouring closed minds, mtaendelea kuandika maposter mkisema mnatusiwa. But kusaidiwa ni favour, you are not entitled to it.
I feel him,,,, he's grateful,,,treat a janitor with the same respect as the CEO....jalas can't say that to his boss right?... Bro stand for what u feel is right to u....
Mboya you are going far. Uko na utu. "Ass up" is an abusive phrase ata kama mtu ni mzungu. You can't use the phrase to someone you respect... There is sweetness when a gift is sealed with respect.
Why don't u help him then give him 18k jalas did right by telling him period when jalas is helping all those people where have u been ..so ungreatful all of u ..Omosh was begging for money last time n he is the one who came out you did not help
Niliwai kua na shida hadi nilikua napewa food huku nikisengenywa Hadi kwa saloon nikiskia na sikuwai uliza , ilikua inauma but nilikua naambia tu God siku moja anipee ndio hata Mimi niweze kusaidia watu😭😭 coz deep inside unajua hauna anything
Pia nyinyi Bloggers mnapenda kuchoma,, kitu ndogo kama Matako ni nn ya kuongelea n u post 18min interview,, can u imagine mumetaja matako for more than 10min
Eti, am very thankful from the start but the term He used, am advertising him as small brother🤣🤣🤣 Kuwa celeb ni shida, kila mtu anataka ajulikane through someone
I support jalongo comment ,about the boy but who wrote a poster we should have to know that people fall and rising up again..look the story of adolf Hitler alikuwa chokora but finally he became a leader in Germany........let consider many ways to live
Si Jalango ampe kazi ndiyo aende a work his ass off, some of this guys wakipata pesa wanaanza kudharau watu hawana pesa trying to make them look like they are lazy people coz hawana jobs na pesa, Jalango amepata pesa akasahau kwenye ametoka na zile shida amepitia. I once went to visit a relative asking for a job and she told mingi kazi ni mingi huku nje mimi ndiyo niko lazy nd yet nilikuwa nimeenda kumuulizia kazi juu huku nje kumeshindikana nd i realised money changes people big time.
For those who think Jalango is doing all these helping because he cares, look at history of Jaguar ... Sonko ... People who help genuinely never shout, don't have cameras, etc
which sonko and jaguar are talking about here,, coz the ones we know kwnza sonko akisaidia mtu posters znajzwa from facebook twitter kw news and everywhere
Masikini jeuri... he is creating a mountain ⛰ out of an Ant 🐜 Hill. That was a matter of semantics. He is a young man whom I don't expect to have issues with such a slung
Kijana umesaidiwa shukuru Mungu cz kuna mweye anatamani kusaidiwa tu n 50bob n hajapata wakumpa we umepata 18k hauna asante bado unasema jalango nini husumbua watu wengine na uwache majivuno ngoja time ya God na uwache kulia sana online
He is also comedian and there's no problem of him looking for clout cos jalang'o too is a comedian me too am thinking of what is going to make me famous cos ni job pia since Corona is there to stay and rendered majority of us jobless
Young people it's time to wake up and appreciate when necessary /where needed acha kuchukulia vitu simple, this guy didn't have rent amesaidiwa but hakuna appreciation 😭😭,Tafuta kazi fanya. Jalas big up kutoelewa kizungu ni mbaya kwa Hawa vijana na wanajiona wanajua Sana but they know nothing.!!!!!
C'mon that is an analogy, he was just saying go work hard.. just like I would say I worked my ass off to pay off my bill. . its NOT an insult sometimes people create mountains out of mole hills. Why are you looking at your glass half empty, thats NOT a curse word. Be positive and stop looking at the NEGATIVE When someone helps me at my time of need, I would humble myself.. call Jalas in private instead of complaining about a common lingo..
BTG so unkind of you. Having the dude for an interview, then calling him ``KIJANA BLADFAKIN`` seriously, that`s an insult. You people should really be ashamed of yourself. How would the young man feel after seeing this.
Jalango has a golden heart, he just used that word in good faith am very sure of this. Please 🙏 learn to appreciate when someone helps you usiangalie tu kosa moja and capitalize on it. That's my simple advice 🙏
I see no problem this guy explaining himself about the words Heavy J used.Especially if the person is not used to such terms. The other thing is that this guy is appreciating the efforts Jalas showed him.Am not defending this guy but i think he is right.
