yeah he isn't too clued up on prices. I wouldn't touch a Bridgeport. You pay a premium for a name, Their are far better deals on other machines that are equally as fine a machine. I use a Cincinnati 2MI horizontal with a choice of two different vertical heads. it also has the powered dividing head driven off the table leadscrew. I honestly wouldn't have any other machine. joy to useand with 5hp it ploughs through anything I put its way.

Pug kept his cool at first and then got insulted at the guys reaction when Pug made him an offer . It doesn't mean he has to accept the offer ,.. but after Pug talked on the phone with him , the guy confirmed the machine was in good order ( probably hoping Pug didn't know much about machines and would buy it . Thankfully for Pug ,.. he does know his shit and saw it was messed up and not at all what the guy said on the phone ) If the guy's intentions were good ,.. he would have made Pug a deal for the distance he traveled and his time . The guy was an asshole .
