I should say kuki tangkhul people are bless by God because they came to know Jesus 1st in our manipur so, they have beautiful voice and not only that lot of officers and many good leaders arise from them... there songs melt our heart even though we don know the meaning.
Let be all United in mizo. In Mizoram all are there like Hmar, Ralte, Chhakchuak, Paite, Lai, Mara, Thahdo, Sailo etc and no one say we are different from Mizo
Though I can't understand the meaning, I love the song. It doesn't satisfy by listening once in a day. I listen everyday... May our good lord bless throughout ur life. Amen... 👏👏👏❤️
Achung Professor at Mission India Bible College from Dimapur prayed for you Joicy. No Naga no Kuki, We are one in Christ! I'm going to present the song in the midst of Naga on behalf of you sister. May God use you to share His very Word through song. Amen
No translation can and will truly capture the deep meanings and do justice to the beautifully chosen words, as the song is in poetic Old Kuki. Even I, a Kuki, struggles to translate some of the words and metaphors: Thim-thu translated as 'covert converse' doesn't truly capture the real meaning, it's an affectionate and confidential conversation between two trusting people, similar to that of lovers. The whole sentence questions why the two siblings cannot achieve an accord like two streams finally converging into one. "Lai-jon" and "sopi" are synonymous, the former being Old Kuki , and latter being New Kuki, and mean the pronoun "sibling". Referred to as "brother", here. Overall, the song is a clarion call for unity and brotherhood, and to forego all misunderstandings and sibling-rivalry between the many linguistically and culturally similar tribes: a song of consanguinity. Here goes my assisted-translation, line for line and literatim: (Feel free to suggest edits) ___________________________ "Parted We Cannot Be" O wind of love, blow forth with haste. Shall thou sever me from mine dearest kin? Many a year hath flown since I beckoned thee, my brother. With arms wide open, I shall greet thy presence. Why dost thou not reciprocate yet ? We cannot bear to be sundered, O brother mine. Why can't our covert converse merge like brooks? I cannot endure life devoid of thee, Nor canst thou find solace in my absence. Beloved brother, embrace me with thine loving arms, Let us, like brooks converge, be united. The ground whereon we rest is unwelcoming, Where we flourish, yet possess no steadfast ground. As chattel treated, freedom still eludes us. Why persist we in strife against each other? Like age-old tale of lovers newly wed, For trifling reasons, why dost we contemplate our decimation? Dost thou not worry for our days yet to come, brother mine? Thou reflect thyself again and again.
I came to discover this song recently following the violence and since then I couldn't stop listening. Iam Hmar and due to some reason in the past conflicts I use to view thadou-kuki as a whole different people from us but the curiosity from our similarities never left doubt in my mind. The current violence and this song has completely shattered my view. I realised that we have more in common than our differences and only through unity can we survive. Glad that though we suffer,we are more United than ever before. Let's strive for unity like in the days of our forefathers. We are of the same blood. We can't truly divide forever. Zo unity✊
Ka nupui fa naute hnenah ka hrilhfiah a, an rilru,an thinlung zz ah Unau kan nih zia hre zel rawhse....Mihrang kan ni mawlh silo...Inhmangaih tawn vek ang u...
May God unite our hearts and our souls and may he guide us and protects us from our enemies. May the Lord rule upon us Zo people and let us be his Children. I hope that one day we Chin-Kuki-Mizo will unite. 👍👍

Revisited. Play on! Inṭhen thei ding zie zang ei ni ta nawh! I believe this song (all versions) for the past few years had brought us so much more closer than ever before. Salute to the composer, the artistes (all versions) and the YT channel!
Breaks my heart. Our present circumstances might be quite pathetic and unfavorable due to some selfish politicians, yet we will keep hoping and fighting for a common better future. This song and its writer gives me hope that better days are coming for our people. The dog may keep barking but may the ELEPHANT goes on. Keep singing, Joyce. The message is powerful.

I am still watching this song 8n 2022 and I can't get bored of this song. It melts my heart deep down and stir me up so much that I want to unite with my Kuki and Chin brethrens.
The biggest blessing that God has ever gifted to kukis is their voice.. They'll sing just casually in any occasion and sound so perfect like as if it's recorded.. I wish to know the lyrics of this song tho
@@mikerainam6943 sorry for all the unnecessary response, the song is mainly about the chin kuki mizo group of people, a song about how many of these people face difficulty in the land that they settle, also moreso about their disunity. So the song says, sihtui bang in kigom kit tai te, let's unite and blend like the waters in the river. Thank you for appreciating the song.
I know very well that u r frm kuki clan ,but i greatly admire u through ur song n i saw u performing on chassad relieve fund ,u r really great With love frm shillong, meghalaya n i am a great fan of yours

CHINKUKIMIZO the day is near we will be one again.. let's retrospect ourself why we go our own separate ways.... Blood related family can't never be separated, even though we want it to. Like the song said I can't live without you nor you'll be happy without me... Chinkukimizo(zofate) we sleep for too long.. time to wake up
