A friend of mine told me about this album before she disappeared from my life completely. She was beautiful, we got along pretty well, but she's in the army now. I wanna comment on the track "Good luck Chuck" real quick. I've read a few reviews that think that the story is about chuck murdering the girl, and i thought this to for a long time because i never listened closely to the lyrics and i suspect others didn't either. Good luck chuck is a story about the girl killing chuck in self defense after he unsuccessfully attempts to kill her. if you think about it, it makes more sense that way anyway even without the ending lyrics most people gloss over because kill bill wouldn't have known all the details of the story if she had died. dunno if you're still hearting comments or pinning Bill/Boar/Jinzo, but i would appreciate it if you did that if you read this so anyone who looks at the comments understands the song better

Chinatown reminds me of simplertimes. almost gives a Coraline vibe. being a 2000s kid i can't describe how nostalgic this album makes me for different reasons. life recently hasn't been great and i'm dealing with the fact i'll never make an extreme impact on the world for better or worse, and i think i'm okay with that. i'm okay with the idea of being forgotten, or remebered or bad reasons. because that's just life. and my life is mine. it will eventually end, and for the moment. i'm okay with the thought of that, big up my multidimensional entities.

I think the line, "Kill myself? Y'all'd be borderline bastards" off of FVCK is one of my favorite lines on the album tbh. It seemed like a throwaway bar when I first heard it but it is so good imo. Saying that he hasn't come up or married the game or really otherwise been recognized on a large scale yet, but he knows that when this shit drops the same people that are hating on him on him will be imitating his style or kinda are like his stylistic children. I just love that he just runs straight through such a good bar and doesn't even acknowledge it like that type of writing is just second nature to him.

8:14. chinatown. my favourite song. been listening to it nearly every day since last september. it helped get me through a really tough time, and seemed to happen to come into my life just as this girl i really liked did who coincidentally "was so reserved, with the brightest smile, her hair was dark and her eyes were brown, i fell in love..." kill bill dude, your music and rav's, its incredible. its nothing like anything ive ever heard before and its all ive been listening to all year pretty much.

Is it weird that for the past 5 Months i've been listening to all of Kill Bill's and Rav's albums almost everyday? I know most people get tired of songs after hearing them a good 50 times but no matter how much i listen to them i always fall in love with their songs all over again. Their songs are the only songs i can truly connect too, they got me through dark times and i'm glad to bring them into the happy times with me.

Nah man, I had a phase like that back in the summer of 2019. I probably listened to Ramona, Vestiges, and New Moon over 50 times each. I seriously have never heard any subgenre of rap (or of any type of music) that speaks to me the same way both Bill and Rav’s does on so many levels. Not to mention when they come together on a track or album it has a whole new and great feel.

October 2018 was when I listened to this album for the first time, I remembered loving it, but recently, in 2020 this album became my source of sadness, joy, anguish, bliss, numbness, and all emotions that passed through my severely tired and depressed brain. A year and a half later (and counting) and the songs still hit as hard. About Last Night is the nuke for me, that shit just hits differently. There are no words that could hope to describe how that song makes me feel. Good shit Bill, your whole catalog is gold. Love from another land and another time.

Honestly always thought this album was way more well known than it apparently is. Goes to show the quality of it. Utter shame it’s not talked about nearly as much as it needs to be, it’s excellent.

Wow. I listened to this on and off. Sometimes just repeating certain songs that were initially catchier. But I just finished the album in one sitting and I'm genuinely impressed.

Why am I just finding this. I’ve never heard this before yet it hits me with extreme nostalgia. Maybe cause it resembles childish gambling so much in some of these songs. I used to listen to all of his shit when I was younger
