I'd have to say you're right. Ingested certainly didn't invent this sound or genre single handedly, it just felt very influenced by a single sound that makes it sound a little too samey to a lot of other bands. But hey that's just me. Also vic lol'ed at "core bitch boy" might as well start saying shit like "go back to miley cyrus" lmao

Yes but they're heavily influenced by slamming brutal death metal so it's a thin line, like a lot of newer bands like organectomy, vulvodynia, within destruction etc. I'd say they're closer to abominable putridity or cephalotripsy than something like salt the wound or suicide silence.
