6:50 This mission is probably the only well made, well written and well executed mission in all of DYOM runs. It's nice to see a grown up man making missions for a change.

Also, it was an copy paste mission. the real mission is called "[MOTW #142] Quadruple Extermination II: " by "VikingEVMv2". probably someone stealing thing, archive stuff, or wrong upload. 18:51 (San Andreas Stories M9:silenced robbery) : just your ordinary day in San Andreas, where you stealing, doing some robberies, killing, and it happened in our beloved mansion, Madd Dogg Mansion (at least it's what it called on the canon storyline) 25:24 (The Briefcase) : kinda confused me with some American Reality Show 31:26 (Ballas taken over) : what could i do? the mission's title says it all 34:20 (Sniper Assassin) : really had a vibe of that "go blk" moments. short, simple, "not that accurate" english, and the most important... yeah. Ryder is alive!! 36:00 (GP2 Guns Half Price) : Part of an GP (Gangsta Paradise), with the series had an 2 chapter with chapter 1 (37 mission) and chapter 2 (3 mission). Story revolves around William Brown, an ordinary gangster member having an deals, stealing, betrayal, and defend with James and friends. Just my opinion, i think it's better to calling it "Gangster Code" instead of "Gangster Dictionary" 43:22 (Los Sobrevivientes. Escondite. Ep.2) : Captain Millers (one of the character) name was matchly taken from one of the Sri Lankan Separatist, which had attempt to Suicidal-bombing an Army Base 52:14 (SAN ANDREAS Z: 1 Temporada Episódio 1.) : "Do not Leave the House for any Hypothesis" should be translated to "Do not Leave the House for any Assumption" (i mean, HIPÓTESE had a lot of meaning) 55:39 (the sweet life part 19) : this mission had a backstory around sweet life after the riot 3 years later. A lot of things happened during those year where Grove is disbanded, CJ condition, and so much plot twist you could imagine :) I really recommended that COOLMAN122234555896's mission (chapter 1 had interesting story and ending). Further edit will be done when it's necessary

The reason he had to kill everyone in the last mission is because the last objective had a property "kill whole gang" set to on, which means any NPC belonging to that gang must be killed to progress unlike previous objectives where you only had to kill the objective enemy. Since Josh had ignored other enemies in the previous objectives, he had to kill them all at once.

Using just a solid TTS would be the best whenever TTS is used. "Popping sound", said the british lady.

We should do DYOM Awards wherein the community gets to vote for the best mission in different categories such as writing, design etc. Perhaps even the goofiest mission.

I'd prefer without tts, hearing Josh trying to pronounce broken English words is way more funny. And also I usually watch your Dyom run before bed and hearing your voice somehow makes me fall asleep easier.

Here's an idea for the TTS. If the the subtitles are translated, you could possibly match the accented TTS to the original language. So if it was a French DYOM the TTS will be English with French accent.

In my opinion, josh reading the subtitles is way funnier.

Text to speech is okay, but, one not obvious bad side effect is that we all came to hear Josho. And text to speech reducing amout of communication Josho producing during stream

If possible, the timer should be only during gameplay, not cutscenes. You can see it dicks down in cutscenes, so it matters if you skip them or not

Personally I'm not huge on the text to speech, it's a lot of extra noise, especially when the mission has textboxes that go by fast. At the very least I'd stick to one voice for all characters on all missions.

Hey Josh. As for the TTS, I think the best way to go is to just keep one style of voice, and possibly with a native accent for the best experience. Easy to implement, and would probably solve all problems. Sure, this would mean that woman would be voiced by man, and so on, but imo its better than the mashup we had last time.

Joshimuz text to speech is better than google text to speech.

Hi, Josh! I suggest limiting all of the text-to-speech to only British/American English voices (easy way). With variety. Or one-by-one listening to all of the other language voices and selecting only the ones that are easy to understand. Because some of the accents are okay and some of them need way more time to mentally process (+remember the fact that the voice is robotic by itself). I think either one of these solutions will greatly improve the experience.

Hey Josh, got a question. DO you redownload new missions from the DYOM site every now and then or do you just randomly pick the one from the pre-existing pool of mission you downloaded earlier

@Joshimuz ive noticed that in another dyom episode aswell but i believe the markers on the map do change going into an interior but cjs house seems to be actually inside the house, so the interior world of cjs house is actually grounded and other interior worlds float up high. Feel free to correct me but those are just my observations

I would like to see one voice per mission or per run. Or maybe a setup where it changes every 15 minutes or something along those lines.

The second mission makes me feels like cavemen who just discover fire. TTS is probably better if you're going through full custom story, while the """speedrun""" read by you.

Funnily enough, I was actually in the army with a man named Sloan.

Not TTS, but I kinda dislike the new timer (the one that replaces in-game clock), simply due to it not being visible during cutscenes and transitions.

I like TTS but I think a good compromise would be to be able to toggle it mid-run, so like when you started eating during one of these cutscenes you could just toggle the TTS so the stream won't be silent or whatever

I liked the text to speech I think, but it came with a couple of problems. mostly it's easily confused with the text to speech used for thanking contributors, but i also thought the range of randomness to the voices a bit too extreme. Maybe narrowing it down to a range that's clearly distinct from the donation voice or something, and I'd love to see it come back. It was funny.

I prefer you reading the subtitles yourself. But if you're going to do random TTS, randomise the voice every mission, not every cutscene transition. Just my 2c Loving all of these runs BTW.

IMHO the way to go with TTS is to just have one English-speaking voice for everything.

I feel like the google translation is taking away from the content, it’s funnier to see someone floundering to follow the directions given in a different language. Also no text to speech is better.

I think the text to speech would be good for non-translated missions would be a compromise I guess, I personally find it entertaining Josh reading badly translated text and some people enjoy tts so :shrug:

I don't mind the Text to Speech voices, it would make it better if it was one voice per session.

I like the text to speech setting, but please make sure the speech is understandable because some voices just sound like gibberish (Take those out).

Try doing one with TTS, but with one voice with normal English, and see how it goes. Accents are fun, but it can be a bit distracting and confusing.

Your voice acting is way better than any monotone text to speech. Leave it off.

The tts is a nice feature but I think it gets tiring quite quickly, while you reading will never be for we can focus more on what's happening in the mission as well as hear you losing brain cells more clearly as the english grammar gets worse and the stories stupider

The second mission actually makes me feel i missed out something very important for not playing DYOM
