Kill roaches in your ps3/ps4 

This happened to me. I'm here because I bought a used ps4 and this happened immediately and the company is refusing to repair it. Local shop.. so I'm here thanking this man as well for helping me save my home from these boogers.

@@Bitchimofficial I put it on top on my console but it makes a stain.You can clean the stain and it will come off. So I just put it around the console like on the bag areas.

My town has a huge issue with roaches, I cant wait to move, of course Ill disinfect everything I take which is why ill not take to much

Yeah you see your statement is what I've been telling somebody else this process is not a hundred guarantee that it will kill the roaches it will only force them out. There are a few RU-vidrs who made similar videos about the alcohol trash bag console solution and they even say it's not a guarantee there's always a chance someone might be still alive and you still might have some in your console because they will lay eggs. Also people are not thinking about the fact since the power supply is so deep in the PlayStation fan most of them might not even smell the alcohol. after all that's where most of them are is near the power supply. If Sony built the PlayStation power supply towards the middle of the console similar to where the hard drive is it would be much easier to get rid of them. Even repairments say the exact same thing that Sony made it very complicated to get to the power supply also it doesn't help that we have those really small holes around the left and right corner because bugs roaches spiders they can go in the PlayStation so easily even those small holes and make it so much easier for dust to get into your PlayStation

@@_yewir_9589 if you watch other videos about the same topic they say it to that some will die but some won't the whole point of this process is that the roaches have to smell the alcohol the alcohol kills them but there are some cases where the roaches my nuts smell it if they're deep near the power supply also like I said before there's always a chance they might lay eggs because most repairman or repair women for PC or console they say the exact same thing that roaches love the PlayStation 4 or Xbox or even PCS because it's warm it's dark and if they ideal spot to live and lay eggs..

@@simonjack9699 I agree with ur statement but also when I did this I looked around my power supply which had some eggs which I got rid of but overall ever since that it's been fine ever since I open it time to time I haven't see cockroach shit in the ps4 in a long time

Most people who made videos on how to get rid of them out of your PlayStation they say not to leave them past 48 hours supposedly the longer you leave them in there they might just go back into PlayStation just like one RU-vidr said if you want to be effective you you can leave your PlayStation in that bag for 48 hours because sometimes they don't always die you might have to do the process multiple times. Just like last week I did the whole alcohol trash bag process yes it killed a few of them but on the same day I noticed there were a few coming out and they were still alive. That's something a people need to understand this whole alcohol trashbag solution is not a guarantee. You know because there's always a chance they might lay eggs in your PlayStation because after all that's what a lot of repairman say cockroaches love PlayStation 4s because it's dark it's warm and it's an ideal place to lay eggs

It does matter if you watch other videos about the same video topic the alcohol trash bag solution they say you have to use the most highest percentage of alcohol that you can possibly get because the higher percentage the stronger it will be and the stronger it will be the more effective the solution will be to kill the bugs I say bugs because it's not just cockroaches even spiders can go into the PlayStation

@@princeedwards6152 yeah but you got to keep an eye on that because they can lay eggs or just like any other animal just like when I first did the alcohol trash bag solution I actually saw a few eggs fell out of the PlayStation and a few were in the trash bag maybe the dead roaches are trying to get their babies out. Even though the videos like I mentioned who have the same video topic the alcohol trash bag solution they even mentioned that you might have to do the process multiple times because the whole point of this process is that the roaches or spiders they have to smell the alcohol and because the power supply in the PlayStation 4 is so deep in the fan they might not even smell the alcohol

@@kicera8267 honestly I'm not sure but try it and keep it in there for a while and they come out!! But i don't think so because they come out to get air but since the whole bag is filled with alcohol they'll die outside the PS4 but on the bright side no more roaches

Alcohol has two things going for it the fumes and the ability to dry quickly and not harm electronics. Peroxide wouldn't work.

Worked for me, twice. I was very liberal with the alcohol and waited at least 24 hours before opening the bag. Also gotta make sure it's air tight.

I don't know. I guess as long as you don't get it in the console. I use alcohol because I know it's safe on electronics.

You act like people deliberately allow it to happen. We accidentally moved into an apartment that turned out to be infested and we keep our place clean and tidy. They’re resilient and they are attracted to heat. Consoles are essentially space heaters.
