Sometimes, certain shooting bag fills can get a bit of a static charge, which makes it hard to fill or top off your bag. This is especially true in low humidity climates or winter months which tend to generate a buildup of static electricity. So how do you fill shooting bags when the fill has a static issue?

If your fill has static, simply use static guard or anti stat spray on the fill, shake it up and the static issue should be resolved. Any kind of antistat spray for shooting bag fill could work, including mixing a little dish soap with water and spraying it on SpexLite, since SpexLite does not absorb water (with the slight exception of Heavy Sand). Sometimes you may have to apply a second treatment, but this is a simple, economical way to reduce the static on bead fill and get your fill loaded in your bag!
