I’m so glad Manly exists, he’s like the indie game master. He brings attention to small things like this, and makes it even more entertaining with his commentary.
Its why I used to watch markiplier when he played small indie games. He made me want to be an indie dev when I was young. He inspired me to make a few small games.
That last ending got me so bad I laughed for a good couple minutes. The whole screen was censored but from Manly's reaction and the context, I could tell exactly what had happened.
I like the idea of Manly’s “Anime boxes”, much more interesting and actually representative than regular “Black Censor boxes” that just doesn’t give you any ideas of what’s happening .

Specifically, that whole scene reminds me of an edgy Pokemon video I must have seen in like 2009 or 10, where Gary Oak goes out into the tall grass and gets violently killed by a Scyther
it's not as much as "I want to marry a dragon" but more on, "The dragon wants to marry me!?" ... on second thought, why not have mutualism? "The dragon and I are gonna get marry!" There! Don't that sound much nicer?

[4:55] Mythbusters did a test where they tried to break the water tension using a hammer. I watched it several years ago but I think the myth got busted because the hammer didn't produce enough force to break up the tension enough to survive a long drop into it. Edit: fixed the timestamp

@@Snowy_Limeade123 Manly's titles tend to be frighteningly straightworward when it comes to certain plots points, I've found. Not that it makes them less efficient. It's like that famous Hitchcock quote about building up suspense, only the bomb in this case is dragon marriage. We know it's there going in, we know it's gonna happen eventually, we just don't know how or why.

This reminds me of one of those really old adventure books. You know, the ones where you have to do exactly everything right in exactly the right order and get incredibly lucky in order to maybe get out alive? I remember one where you drown in slime if you go the wrong way around a bush.

Manly's playthroughs are really well done, he plays all sorts of games I haven't even heard of. His commentary are always spot on and done at the right moments, I really like his voice
Gotta man up and say that I thought Manly was gonna die from attacking the fire. It’s fire, I thought attacking it wouldn’t do anything and it’d set you on fire.
This couple of weird endings at the end sneaked up on us so suddenly I thought I'd entered an episode of Virtual Nip Nops. So nostalgic. And somehow the dog is still the most suspicious character of this whole thing.
I feel like watching a play through of this game before going to sleep is a bad idea. Also it reminds me a lot of the Netflix show Midnight Gospel with the weird events and animation
