@@mattjohnson3299 Jeremiah had some pretty bad and cringy misses. But man he also landed some of the funniest jokes in the shows history as well. Part of the reason why I got hooked to the show in the first place.
@@666muffintop6 not as bad as Pat lol same tho Jeremiah and himself lost in character gave me some of my best laughs...Jolburg was funny too but the show is a lot more professional now. Tony and Jeremiah were clearly creatively head butting towards the end and now the band is better musically and the show is more about the up n coming comics...
@@mattjohnson3299 For sure. I was honestly really sad and skeptical when Jeremiah and Jolburg weren’t on the show anymore. But the new era really highlighted the fact that the premise of the show is what makes it great. And it’s still amazing even without them. The regulars definitely contribute that. Montgomery is a fucking killer and the addition of Hans Kim has made it even better.
@@mattjohnson3299 Austin is just a bunch of people going after their share of nuggets from Rogan's 100 mil. A good old gold race. Once that well is dried up, it's just back to NY and LA scene. And that's good because the level of people that are attracted to it is the bottom of the barrel because those with the chops were already doing fine in NY and LA. Outside of the regulars, the people appearing on the podcast have become way more dogshit. The band is now also just any generic band. And it's way harder to get good guests out to the middle of nowhere. Same problem that ruined YMH.

He makes music and art and they’d never be able to”
8:31 - This is why I like Tony... He's all about the comedy. He was willing to see if this shit show was going to lead anywhere... He gave the guy a chance. The guy was horrendous and failed miserably... BUT at least he tried something a bit unusual.
sorry to reply 2 years later lol. but yeah i agree with you. tony was actually very accepting of that super weird and unfunny distraction. pat is amost never funny and im surprised tony gave his friend so much leniency. but it made for an interesting episode because that dude wasn't immediately booted off the stage.

Someone on reddit said the guy was a genius because he was actually trolling tony..When did trolling become a genius move? I always thought it was pathetic, lazy, and yes , occasionally funny but not genius. Plus its not funny when almost everyone is annoyed and angry.
Couldn’t agree more. Trolling is a thing unfunny people came up with. Unfortunately the internet has allowed the stupidest, most bottom of the barrel people of humanity, to have a voice and share their thoughts. Which is why most comment sections, most online trends, are nothing but toxic stupidity. Society is doomed. Mentally ill people are now destroying culture, day by day, stripping the logic from society and tarnishing the science and nature of life.

Are Jeremiah and Pat childhood friends? I just dont see how the two could have came together any other way. I know Jeremiah tends to over do a bit sometimes but he usually saves it before it fizzles out and dies. Hes too much of a comedic genius to truly find pat funny. I think thats why he came up with the "thats my boy patty regan right there" line. So he wouldnt have an awkward silent moment of not laughing at his friend. This episode sent me over the edge with Pat. The fact that he didnt pull the plug on this , shows that he doesnt have a sense of humor, but he is also delusional enough to believe his humor is hilarious and the world just doesnt get it. I will give pat a genuine compliment though. I like the songs that ive heard him sing on the pre show. I think his songs have a subtle humor and a poetic reason. Just stick to that pat
I really haven't seen much of Pat besides Kill Tony, I've only started watching, KillTony, for the past couple months. I don't know if Pat's style supposed to be not funny? I've seen maybe like 100 something kill tony episodes so far, couple dozen when Pat was around, and I think I've laughed at something Pats said like one time and even then I don't remember that one time. Every time he goes for the mic, its like the stalest thing. This though is by far the most unfunny thing I've ever seen though. Pat and his little idiot monkey friend? Worst joke like ever.
Pat is alt comedy. He worked for Eric Andre who simply is just a air time filler for adult swim to meet their diversity quota. They just do dumb pranks that are unfunny. It’s just rich Cali kids tryna be edgy and cool. Jerimiah is from Kansas so they weren’t childhood friends. I think pat just showed him around the music scene and jerimiah liked it and was kind of a door for him to network in. Tryna be mid 2000 punk 15 years too late in a terrible band but dumbass rich kids in Cali paid to see it. Pat has a private account on everything, for an “artist” is unheard of but he’s so unbearably unfunny it’s clear why.
Calling Watkins a Comedic Genius is a comedically genius move. He’s been second fiddle to other comedians his entire career of well over a decade and a half. Not the career arc of a comedic genius lmfao

Redband is not funny. That doesn't mean he can't judge comedy fairly. Comedians, like any other profession, aren't the only experts at perceiving what is funny or not.

How or why Pat thought this would work (obviously planned) shows a whole nother level to Pat Regan’s inability to understand an audience. It’s really annoying how Pat handled the entire situation. Like at first he acted like this was a random guy, and had no idea what was going on yet kept everybody in the dark by ignoring Tonys question. Then after admitting he knew the guy and realized he sucked the air out of the room, but kept him on the stage and letting him speak
