I’ve started rewatching the old ones and while the new Austin ones are good, there’s something about Jeremiah and joelberg and the band that adds something extra that I long for
@PepsiFuture lol dude. You're way out of touch and have zero credibility. You've got to be an absolute tone def brain dead troll to truly believe that all they did was bomb. They made the show funnier. Yeah Tony is funny and all but release his tip from your lips for a few seconds and pay attention.
The new format at the Mothership is too sterile. It feels like a produced show now, especially compared to these earlier shows. Also, having 200+ names in the bucket make it difficult for mini-arcs to develop. I like how the same person gets up 4 times in 7 weeks in these early days. They are essentially a recurring character for a month or two. The show now is more like Love Boat where every episode is it’s own unique universe.
Is that something extra comedy? Because that’s what is missing and the band adds iv re watched only the episodes with the band like four times already and just cannot stand that Hans kim thinks he’s a comedian just awful blandness is what it is without the og band
@@Hellaframes Joel and Jeremiah are very likeable guys, but the new band is actually a band of real musicians who play amazing music! To each his own I guess!
@@jsmnzgb yeah i feel you i have noticed the music aspect is much better and they are a good solid band. but i miss the guys and the different characters every show…. cat burglar!!!!!
@@Hellaframes Haha ok fair enough :) Do you follow Jeremiah and watch Stand up on the spot? I don’t know what Joel is doing in terms of comedy after Kill Tony..
Ya, kind of like Tim Dillon losing Ben Avery. Now it’s mostly guests for views, which obviously works for them. The band was a unicorn. So is William Montgomery.

@@Kyle_Riel What the hell happened with that guy? He was good most times on Kill Tony and then he decided to quit that and...do nothing?! I googled him and only saw that he did some video game and he sells some sketches on instagram?!
Can someone explain to me what makes Dom Irrera is so great as a guest on Kill Tony? I like him as a comedian and I do think he is funny, but I just cant get on board with him being "the best guest." He is very quiet and when he does say something its typically something he said on previous episodes or just some super mean comment that there are honestly enough of. Maybe there are only so many Kill Tony's a guest can do??
I would say it's because Tony respects the crap out of Dom cuz he's super old school at this point, e.g. Tony's comedy style 100% Plus, i mean jeez, he was Ernie on Hey, Arnold;]
still makes me cringe every time Tony spews his "im one of the top young rising comedians in the world" since hes been saying that for 7 years now and still looks like his T-cell count isnt rising at all
I'm convinced Tony has never actually listened to a single persons set, he never remember what people say. The one ladies entire set was about how her name doesn't match her look, and then Tony just completely forgets that was her idea and tells her tell the same joke she already told??? Tony has been doing too many whipitz and coke
So you don't want negative feedback? If aomeone is defenswss then the guy should go easy on them and not waste 10 mins exposing someones vulnerabilities. That's just an ethical thibg i believe in. I like the show and it is always different depending on atmosphere and who's on stage etc. I thought it was interesting Tony not rippin onto bill burr when challenged. As a roast master he just took the criticism and pretended it didn't happen. That was poor. What you think about it? Did you see it?
@@comegetthathitter6935 Funny though how Tony couldn't handle Bill Burr. Shows his pussy if you ask me. I like the show and it can be hilarious but it also can be tedious at times.
Paulina is attractive but not so funny and bad interview, upset Dom doesnt remember her then she turns it on him and tries not to get upset but really blaming anyone who doesnt remember her. Geez lady I wouldnt forget her tho ❤❤
I don't like that they go in super hard on someone who is CLEARLY very nervous the way they do. Bo seemed like he was just nervous as shit, hence the quiet voice, why make him feel worse? It's funny, sure, and they signed up for it.. but still!
it's not just that he's "nervous" It's that he's kind of taking a dump on a big chance. So here he is, getting what is a pretty awesome chance for exposure, and all he has to do is answer questions directly and they will be EXTREMELY helpful, for free. And it can't be stated enough - a workshop from someone like Irrerra is literally almost priceless. Literally. Because he won't do it for anyone he doesn't know under normal circumstances. So the dude is getting stage time and advice everyone in the room would appreciate, but he has to try to "write from the stage" in some weird attempt to hang every time they ask him something and ends up sounding like a really bad improv student....and then he doesn't learn the first couple times, he KEEPS doing it.
Because they got no class, as in ttony and co. Watch bill burr and more o Jor rogan on it and they have actual constructive criticism and positive feedback for the attendees. It's boring as fuck hearing Tony 'interview' guests.; WTF is with that. Say something funny, constructive, critique and get them off the stage for the next one up. To much pedantic time wasting for my liking.
Of course a female comedian says that's fucked up at a comedy show about a joke she should definitely be using and essentially is, just in a less clever way
Nobody seems to be noticing the running theme on Kill Tony where they have the 1 minute stand ups wearing diapers and pissing themselves??! It's so fkn obvious, every show. Watch Jeremiah check all their butts when they walk out and then give a smile or nod to Redban if they're wearing one or not. It must be some sort of humiliation tactic... A kind of 'Let's see how commited they are to being a comedian and getting a foot up from us in the comedy world!' type deal!. Watch... It's insane! In some shows it couldn't be more obvious! All they're pants have already been pissed before they come out and then speaking to Tony they do it again. Watch the woman in front row signalling when she see's it... Front row are workers for the show. Can't believe nobody is commenting on it lol wtf? 🤦♂😂
46:00 ish, an old video but Tony pretty much still does the same shit without the same band. I'm curious what the consensus amongst comedians is with regards to the thing Tony does. Him and everyone else on stage being complete Assholes and teaming up on the performer. Some of these people have issues and some are just weird, why be so brutal. Tony doesn't stop either, just gets meaner and meaner long after it isn't funny, he keeps going when nobody is laughing. Its awkward, and isn't a good look. People must discuss this I'd imagine, I'm curious. 43:50, the answer to Tony's vest insult is "it's called style Tony" even if you agree with him. At least pretend that you are being yourself and being authentic.
