I remember buying Heavy Mental album when I was in grade 9 from a used cd store. I had never heard such knowledge before and didn't quite understand but felt vibrationally lifted and couldn't stop listening. Now in my adulthood, I get it all and thank Killah Priest for planting seeds at such an early age. God bless the adepts that lead the way.

Aloha to all yall brothers and sisters. Killah Priest been getting more and more refined over time. Brother been sharpening his skills since before Heavy Mental ever came out. He was legendary GOAT status off that album alone. Not too many we’ve heard on this level dropping gems of knowledge, wisdom, history, spiritual and esoteric wizardry. Priest been one of my favorite MC'S since I got my first hip hop tape Liquid Swords and heard the B.I.B.L.E track on the CD version. Peace and love to all yall.

KP definately has my most favorite approach to historical/story telling rap. Otherwise, I always get this sense that he's channeling all these dope ass ryhmes...I can totally picture him starting with a word and channeling that oneness for other puzzle pieces that fit in place and make up a cohesive verse while many have to sacrifice that to fit ryhme schemes together like that. fantastic art to! I always enjoy it!
