@@Sineadlondontourguide I was watching a British Vlogger in Spain today who talked about how enthusiastic and knowledgeable Free Walking Tour guides are around Europe in Particular. They'd done many from Rome to Madrid. I told them to hunt you down next time in London.
Thank you. My family is from Ireland 🇮🇪 and I love all Irish ☘️ history. My maiden name his O’CONNELL and have family in Cork. So thanks for showing us just how beautiful and how green Irish land really is. 🥰😊
Glad that you enjoyed the video, Kelly. If you haven't done so already, hopefully, you can check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours ru-vid.comvideos. There will be more videos on Ireland in the mix.
What a beautiful home you have. Just imagine being able to say I’m from Killarney, Ireland! You are a luck girl. Thank you for sharing. Thank you again from Texas
Another wonderful tour Sinead! Just gorgeous 🍀 thanks to all the kids for helping out - I love hearing your memories as a kid too. 👍 looking forward to the next one 🤗 thank you (Lisa ~ Boston MA)
I'm late to the party, but have been watching ALL your videos with such interest. It is wonderful to hear the passion in Sinead's voice as she gives these tours of her home town. I'm another viewer from Australia, and it was interesting to hear Sinead mention she is an O'Leary, because I am as well (on my mothers side).
Absolutely beautiful place . I went there 4 years ago as a surprise birthday present from my misses . We went to the killarney horse racing festival. Was a great experience . Love watching your tours
I felt like I was walking along with you. When you talk about your memories you sound so happy, you may lose your money but nobody can take your memories. I said this for part one, "What A Place To Live" great video....
Thanks again for watching! If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Thank you so much, my grandmother came from Killarney and my father always said I have more relatives than I could ever imagine. Sadly I have never managed to visit due to being retired / disabled so you have brought my grandmother's homeland to me. Thank you.
Thanks for watching, June. It really means so much to us to hear this. We are happy to bring a bit of Killarney to you. If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
The Abbey is beautiful.. amazing!! Thanks so very much for the great tours!! You are so knowledgeable and have a soothing voice!! Loving it here in Maine!!!

Amazing trip! I'm a Geography teacher and I'm more and more amazed by the places you take us. Definitely will show your videos to my students in September.
@@Sineadlondontourguide Aww, you're welcome. I'm fully aware of the fact that these programmes, trips and walks take loads of work, knowledge, preparation, devotion and professionalism. I thank you. 😊
sinead, I do stealth wild camping. With my hammock. Keep quiet, keep out of sight. Leave no trace etc. Nobody knows Im there, not even the deer. This area of Ireland looks amazing and yes I would stretch to a b and b for a treat hehe.
Hi Sinead, I’ve been watching lots of your videos and I’ve just come back from a trip to London. I noticed a lot of things I would probably have missed, so thank you for all your company during lockdown and knowledge of history. You’re Ace xx

Oh Sinead, how I wish I got stuck there. The year was 2000 when my workmate Richard got married to lovely Mary who hails from Killarney. And how strange that it will be in another days time 18th August which will be their 21 wedding anniversary!! I love Killarney. I had a chance to do the Gap of Dunloe tour on horse and trap. Did I say that right? ha ha and experienced the "Ladies View" Yes, the place was just out of this world. I can carry on here and bore everyone silly. But Killarney is just beautiful and guys if you think the scenery is beautiful, wait till you meet the people. Oh, I didn't have one boring moment. I felt like sleeping that week was a waste of time. Lovely wedding, lovely, lovely people xxxxxxxx
Sinead I can't thank you enough. xxxxx Can't wait to fly to UK and join one of your tours. It does not matter now which one because you are such a good storyteller. I just keep your vids running whilst I keep with my chores and just listen, then I repeat them later and view the scenery. I am learning more about places I have been to before. Thank you again.
U survived an Irish wedding 👰 and lived to tell the tale , my upmost respect Thank you for sharing your wonderful memories Maybe we’ll raise a glass together in Killarney in the future ☘️💚 Sinead
@@Sineadlondontourguide oh my word I am creased up laughing over here in the Philippines and wish I can go out and have a guinness with a friend and talk about this. What is it with Irish weddings? Yes, you just reminded me of the cab driver who drove us to the church. It was of course obvious to him that we were visiting. We thought that he was just being hilarious telling us that we should actually have something to eat after the church ceremony and before the reception or we will be on the floor before food is served. We were laughing so much in this cab with further warnings he told us. As it turned out, he was not ducking joking!!! Dinner and dancing was great! oh the music. Love Irish music. ( We do here in the Philippines so much so that when I went to UK , on hearing this to be Irish song, I told my husband...oh I didn't know you love Filipino music. Oh how he laughed at my claim! I said but that's what I have always heard during traditional May festivities on the island!) By midnight we thought, that's it, people are starting to go home now. Aaaannnd then, a new serving of food started and the singing and dancing started again. The guests who walked to the door, I then now understood were just having a bit of fresh air. So, the party, picked up again. The kids!!! they were still awake doing Irish dancing!!! Oh and the bride and groom who left as well were back still in their wedding attire!!! Love it. I have photo with the bride of about 4 o'clock in the morning where I look like I was slipping off the chair and the bride was still looking fresh....fresh from Killarney! How I would love to visit Killarney again and raise a glass or pint of Guinness with you, Sinead. My birthday wish. xx
I love anything to do with Oliver Cromwell and it was fascinating to learn the castle survived an invasion by Cromwell. And the countryside looks so stunning, surely you 🚶 will be sad to go back to the Hustle and Bustle of London 🏛️🏢🏚️🏘️😉🌟
Never sad to come back it’s definitely a much faster pace but going home recharges the batteries and thankfully only 1 hour away Thanks as always Stephen for watching Sinead
Thank you for taking the time to make these videosn while on your holiday! We did tour Ross Castle and spent a day on Dingle. But, as is always the way, no matter what you do, it scraches the surface. Plenty of things you showed us that I need to come back and see. You are lucky to have grown up there and it was lovely to meet your family!
Our pleasure, Sherrie. If you know of anyone else who might also enjoy these videos, please share us with them. We would really appreciate that! Thank you.
Would you believe Sherrie it’s still only a fraction I may bring a few more Killarney sites around Christmas again Thanks as always Sherrie for your following and kind words Sinead
Fantastic video Sinead. Just back from staycation in Killarney. Looks to be a couple of Mayo jerseys there also which could be interesting in a couple of weeks :-)
Not Mayo but similar Kilcummin local club jerseys We have to pass Tyrone first but if it’s Mayo will be tough ,would love to see them win an All Ireland of course , but not at Kerry’s expense Ciarraí Abú 👍☘️
@@Sineadlondontourguide Yes, support the locals. Must have a sportsman's bet on the final. Thanks for heads up on Caddyshack - previously I used to sneak into Hotel Killarney and play crazy gold there! Enjoy the rest of your holiday
Glad that you enjoyed the video, Damian. We'll be back in Ireland soon. If you haven't done so already, hopefully, you can check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours ru-vid.comvideos. There is more of Sinead where this came from.
@@ToursbyFootLondon Thanks for link. Watched Jack the Ripper - much better than another tour I took in 2019. Great video. Sinead's a storyteller par excellence
I’ll be heading to Muckroos abbey, the gap, and black valley at the height of spring, from Kilkenny. Was wondering what camera you’re using to record all this? The Colour’s are lovely and vivid.
Still kicking myself when I was in Ireland that I didn't get down to see all that. I chose instead to stay in Dublin and drink at Temple Bar. Will not repeat that mistake again.
Glad that you enjoyed the video. If you haven't done so already, you can hopefully check out our back catalogue of virtual London tours ru-vid.comvideos. There is more where this came from.
Its fascinating how so many words are very similar in languages across Europe. Loch in Scotland, Lough in Ireland. Also Cinderella's Glass slippers but they were not literally Glass but were Blue, the mix up was from the original language Cinderella was in word for Blue and the Welsh word for Blue is Glas.
I just noticed your user name...this is not any reference to that it is just coincidence. Cinderella's slippers were made from squirrel fur...its a mis translation😊😎
been there too. to Ross Castle. Ireland is beautiful. my dad is first gen born in USA. do you have any manchester or cardiff. i'm preshopping ideas for travel next year. prob Mar-May time frame. i'll have to search your videos.
