Well although that may be the case, Kisame then steals Bee's chakra through Samehada to the point Bee pretty much faints. Kisame and Nagato were both in a vunerable state when they did what they did. Not sure how the reanimation worked on Nagato, but compare his looks from when he is with Itachi and after absorbing the lariat. Kisame was also skin and bones, but with bee's chakra he regained his previous looks

nope samehada didn t betray him. it was a zetsu at the end kisame stayed in samehada the whole time. and it new that was not kisame so that s why it attacked him

@@mattiafornei2437 yeah I definitely feel You, characters like sasori and deidara They are really underrated somehow because they're definitely strong, They could NEVER beat The strongest like i mentioned before kisame ,Itachi, Pain , and Obito pretty Much destroy him but the others especially konan with no prep time, hidan, Kakuzu, sasori definitely stronger than Them. Zetsu doesnt need to be mentioned because He's The weakest One. He Cant fight

@@trunksfromthefuture5020 Deidara is my absolute favorite, but unfortunately I have to admit that it has too obvious weaknesses. As you rightly said he is very strong, but he himself admits to being inferior to Sasori, for example. On the other hand I have always seen Sasori as practically unbeatable without antidotes available, because it is practically impossible to be able to dodge his every shot.

This fight is what I sincerely applaud kishimoto for. It was needed to show that Kisame is a force to be reckoned with. If the author just thrashed him 3 times against Guy without showing any damage Kisame can inflict, it would've been just sad to watch. In summary Kisame is the strongest akatsuki member in raw power and if You ignore magic eyes that gain abilities as plot progresses. Also he lost to the strongest character in the whole universe(at least before writing went to shit with the use of reincarnations, juubidara and aliens)

Actually I think that kisame got him because of future plot. It was a genius strategy for akatsuki that they might have made up on the spot. I don't know if You've watched later episodes so i'm trying not to spoil too much. Then again this fight is over 10 years old so I'm not really sure what's the point.

@@johnsonking6121 I wonder what would happen if great big shark from Kisame that absorbs chakra from the attack collided with Bee's bijuudama. Would the force of 8-tails overwhelm Kisame or the other way around, because stealing opponent's chakra to make your attack more powerful is some kind of broken bullshit on par with momoshiki and Pain's absorption, which also render chakra based attacks useless

Good idea. That episode made me really sad. He didn't deserve to get savagely killed as he did. Since that day, I hated Hidan and was sooo satisfied when Shikamaru litteraly completely destroyed him.

@@YUGYWDASGOW Sword didn't betray him, Kisame hid inside of it to spy when Zetsu told him that Raikage's pursuit was coming. And given the chance that they would be a little late Zetsu was plenty to carry Bee's half-dead ass back to the hideout
