My boss’s brother had a cow that got out of the fence and was so mean he was going to shoot it cause they tried with 4 quads to get her back in and no luck so when he asked to borrow my gun when i was checking cows I asked if I could have her and in about an hour she was in the trailer just me and my trusty old paint horse and a 60 foot rope. Best money making day I’ve ever had lol
Anyone notice the yellow sale tag on her right side? she came from an auction not that long ago, probably a trader cow. She knows how to play the game cause she's been around.
Well mr mccoy maybe not but she is in the trailer it was them folks that got her there and not all the couch potato Cowboys that was making all the negative comments@
I'm sorry that's no killer cow. If she was a killer cow she would be going right for the man standing just beside the trailer gate before she went in, instead of just cautiously going by before running into the trailer. She felt trapped, had no way out, and figured the only way "out" was through the person standing in her way. She weighs around 1400 lb, the guys only weigh around 150 or 180 lbs, and guess who wins. If there was only one working her and not the other "helping", the load-up would be much faster.
@@sq6529 Okay. Instead of acting like a complete arse, I’d much more appreciate a discussion and break-down about where I’m wrong. Ad hominem attacks only discredits you, not me. Also, I don’t consider myself an “expert.” 🙄 The cows are the real experts here. I’m just interpreting their behaviour to the best of my ability.
bovine are a prey animal with prey instincts. when singled out buy predators which is what we are they are hard-wired to "flight or fight" confined to the portable pen takes away the flight option in that situation bring 5 or 6 head back so she doesn't feel singled out. wait about 10 minutes she should load up with less stress.
Cows like that are not worth having at any price. I've dealt with a few and they got sold. We actually shot one she was so dangerous to be around, what caused her disposition well never know. But she started destroying fences and gates and once she was loose we had no choice anymore, just too risky to try and corral again.
Had a black Angus cow like this at one point, she didn't act like this because she was in a lot, but she was straight out crazy!! Took 4 years to get her in the lot and loaded, only cow we had like that. You couldn't even get within 50 yards of her calf. She was the type when she was in the lot she would do 1 of 2 things, either jump the fence/gates or run right over you.
we had a cow like that once. a man couldn't get near her. she was a lot worse after she had a calf. dad sold her and a woman bought her and milked her in the pasture.
Randy Yonkins. Ya wanna cull that outta yer herd asap!! I'd butcher her, any offspring, any kin exhibiting that craziness and I'd watch her sire to make sure that trait didn't come from him!!(other crazy-calves!)
How the hell would a cow know what a slaughter house is, or that such a thing even exists? Do you think they go on field trips to the slaughter house as calves? Good lord.
@@erintubb9860 using good Lord and hell, must think your a believer Wow, how do you know they don't communicate and and hear the screams and smell the smell, God works in mysterious ways and communicates to all his creation, in my 75 years have seen they all animals have feeling and have love in them, in most cases more that most humans
Put a little bit of sweet feed in the trailer and walk off out of sight, is all that is needed for that bovine to load up all by himself. Putting yourselves in the Penn with him is unnecessary and only makes the beast nervous. ITS ALL FUN AND GAMES UNTIL SOMEONE GETS PUT IN THE HOSPITAL FROM BEING TRAMPLED ( BECAUSE OF THEIR OWN STUPIDITY )
When I was growing up in Pennsylvania. We had a milk cow. You did not get in the fence with her. She would go after you with her head down and those horns ready. You knew when you were too close for comfort. She would start bellowing. You knew you had better get to a fence and get under it or else.
Killer cow....? all ya done is piss it off, what would of been funny is if it jumped out of the gap in the rear float doors an landed on that dude shutting them.
better safe than sorry so better be 2 steps ahead. The Holy Bible “Wise people learn from other people’s mistakes, foolish people learn from their own”.
No such thing as a killer cow, just a frightened bovine left by herself. She uses aggression as a last resort. Put her with a couple of other cows, that’s the first rule. Then give her clear signals of where you want her to go, and let her see the route
that one lady is right it is funny and it doesn't matter what the guy is wearing shorts or jeans its not your clothing that makes u a cattleman it is a way of life and a way of the heart so all this junk about "as soon as i saw the guy on the fence in shorts i knew he wasn't no cattleman " is bull shit don't criticize these people they are very much cattle people and if you don't see that ten your not and cows are not scared of humans it is really depending on how they are raised and no no cow likes to be in a Corral
We have a cow just like her same color and every thing. She had my dad treed for the longest time. I had to use the truck to get him down and she rammed the truck a few times before she gave up. We have had white, gray, black cows but only the red ones were mean and did not like anyone.
all that f..king clanging and banging. My bull would load himself right up into the wooden drop ramp the moment the truck pulled up. He knew he was going to be seeing new girls.
Don't let your children watch this!!! Hey you were real lucky to get out of that alive. I've seen that type before she's a meat eater for sure. Just the look in her eye made my blood run cold. I was too shit scared to watch the whole video, and I'm going to have nightmares for weeks. edit: HOWS THAT? DO I GET THE COPY WRITERS JOB?
