It's such crap that DBD awards a technical win to Killers who take the match hostage like this. When Survivors take a match hostage, the Killer can still interact and do something about it. But look at how this Killer took the match hostage: He made the survivors completely unable to do anything else but wait until they die of blood loss.

Killer thought he won by wasting over 5 minutes of bleeding ppl out. If he genuinely thinks thats a strat to winning the game, hes definitely stuck in the times where u could sabo hooks and they didn't respawn

I never understood how killers can be so toxic. When i play killer, if i get 3 kills already i just let the final one go. The only time i was ever an asshole was in a game where all they wanted to do was run sabo/breakdown/Head on, with hook increase distance offerings - and all they wanted to do was to triple stop me from hooking one person or try and stun/flashlight me. I just wanted the game to be over and they refused to do gens so i just slugged. Im not proud, but thats the only exception

Dude I've been playing DBD for 6 years now and toxicity has never been as bad as it is now. I honestly think it's because the game has gotten significantly more popular over the years, attracting all kinds of bad seeds. If anyone's interested in reading about my experiences, I'll list some of the two worst ones here. I had a Billy much like the one in this video that spent the entire match downing and slugging people, and when he finally got me, the last Survivor standing, he started humping me and I immediately DC'd since I knew he'd spend the entire match doing that. I also had a Zarina that purposely blocked me from reaching the gate while a Knight was chasing me (who I looped all game, mind you), allowing him to down me. She then teabagged on me, left with the rest of the Survivors while I died on hook with the Knight repeatedly hitting me. This happened today BTW!

*sigh* glad I stop playing. The level of toxicity from both sides has no end.

I play both killer and survivor, can't stand people wasting everybody's time and not even getting points. Yesterday played against some ttv 100 followers loser who from the beginning trapped the basement with 7 traps and was guarding the nearest 3 gen the entire game, about half hour, basically not playing at all. Ended up getting me and another person who came to rescue. After the game checked his channel, he was celebrating how it was an easy 2k, telling his 1 viewer how this is a viable strategy is (that 1 viewer being me lmao) and setting up for the same future game. The biggest looser i have met in 2024😂 imaging not playing the game, barely getting points, walking from gen to get for half hour and then flexing to 1 viewer about a 2k, 1 viewer only being there curious what kind of moron would do this😂😂😂 The guy had 1500 hours in the game! But he was so bad, must be standing around for hours. Feel like an idiot that he got me though with a lucky trap+ iron grasp + agitation. It's ok, i feel like people like this get karma irl
