@@ZachRoDah I wanted to argue VICIOUSLY with you. But I looked it up and tried to prove you horrifically wrong. But I couldn't find any proof of my claim. You have to understand that when this game first came out. (Killer Instinct for Arcade/SNES) I was a dumb kid. So I must of misread some where that his first name was Ludwig for some reason. But thanks for the correction. And thanks for killing years of my childhood thinking it was 'Ludwig'. :)
I remember play this everyday when I was on the way to the university, and I don't know if is Nostalgia or something else, but for some reason it makes me sob, this piece is beautiful.
I love how far gaming has came . But i drive by my local arcade 1 block from my house and think of the ppl i met the money spent pumpin tokens and quarters into the stand up coin op machines (Now the roof is falling off it and its condemed) . The tournaments and other things i won playing KI MK Tekken SF2 series in the arcades . God how i miss those times . Some of the ppl i used to play . Ive not saw again . Which i hear certain themes like this one and it just reminds me of certain friends who would play SW in KI and one of our goto stages. I guess i got MAME to relive all these old games but no where near as fun with ppl u make friends with spending 10-20$ standing around a arcade machine . I can remember my whole city being at the KI and MK II release and they made us 2 machines of MK2 , 2 NBA JAM TE's and 2 KI machines
I understand. Somewhere in a random drawer I still have the Killer Cuts CD that was bundled with the SNES version of this game. My buddy Andy and me used to play that game for hours every Sunday back in the 90's. It's wonderful how far gaming has come since then.
Well, it's not too hard if you've learnt how to play the instrument. Besides that, Gordon more likely than not created the cello digitally, so it wouldn't have been much of a problem.
Dude you are mad talented! I'm glad someone did this. I didn't like Sabrewulf's new theme except for the short idle bit, which you've masterfully extended and edited.
THANKS +Arcanuman1 for DO IT! I'm a HUGE FAN of Sabrewulf (SNES), and I really love this original sound. When I hear in XBox version, I :) but I wanna hear full! Thanks a lot from Brazil!
Personally I like both. Is there an original length version of this, because every now and then I need a break from the beats of battle and in the mood for stringed instruments.
Hier soir, je regardais "Secret d'Histoire" de Stéphane Berne: le thème était consacré à.... la Bête du Gévaudan! Cette musique illustrerait à merveille la terreur des traqueurs!
It's one of the greatest things I have ever heard. I have decided to pursue cello at the age of 42 because how hard the bass line goes. The entire piece speaks to my soul :)
Oh damn. Sorry about the link, I fixed it now. :) Also, since you digged this video, this one might be just up your alley: Killer Instinct - Sabrewulf's Theme - Re-Orchestrated
This is nice but i have to perform a combo breaker, why did you chance the theme? I mean isnt a remake suppose to follow the original? Dont get me wrong it´s great work and all but since the lead theme is wrong it´s not so enjoable to me...
this part plays at the end of the soundtrack. it also serves as the Idle theme ingame. Plus Gothic style music changed slightly over time. back in the day, goth was all about grandiose organ and drums. now it's all about paced Strings like violin and cello.
A nice technical achievement, but boring as batshit being so repetitive. Much prefer to have all the variation of the new dynamic score, and leave the original organ version as it is.
