@@Kyle-w9h fuck yeah, I was playing KI Arcade version on my Xbox One X... Holy fuck man it's insanely good.. the combos are just ace and the graphics are well impressive considering how old it is!
I really like how you paired the combatants with their respective villains, or counterparts. Glacier vs Cinder, Orchid vs. Jago, Thunder vs. Spinal. Very nice little touch there! - And of course great playing!
Oh god! I still remember when I spent the whole day playing killer instinct and the first time that I got an ultra combo was like the biggest success in my life lol...Oh I was only 8, good memories!

I recently downloaded a ROM of this game onto my SNES mini so my dad could finally play it. He hadn’t played in over 20 years. 30 minutes after downloading it, he landed an ultra combo on me playing as combo, which you could say was his main. I was winning a game every now and then at the start, but now he’s already unbeatable.
@@Queen_of_Catastrophe I dunno. To be fair, he’s literally the only person I know who’s played this game as a kid. The only other tidbits he’s told me is that Cinder is the absolute best, to the point of being a cheap character, and Skeletor is a difficult character who is really good if you master him. I’m going to take his word for it, not like anyone else is a SNES Killer Instinct pro.
The fact that this video is 16 years old...makes me feel old.. I was around 9/10 when this video came out.. I watched this video relentlessly. This video is apart of KI history IMO
Wow, I remember spending several hours a day playing this game back in the day...had to have been at least 10-12 year ago. I even remember the game coming with its own CD - probably the only game I bought with its own soundtrack!
Got bubbles on my fingers back in the day... Couldn't hold a spoon after kicking everyone's ass.... Even the store owner got beaten...😂 Wish my grades were that good too 😅
This clip displays what I love about this game. Sure, the engine and fighting system wasn't as sophisticated as we're used to these days, but the incredible fighting pace and actual impact of every blow (without beams of light and sparkles á la Tekken) make it so much fun to play.
You know what made this game so great? All 10 playable characters were awesome. Me and my bros would play as all 10 of them. We didn't have any strong faves (though my youngest bro loved Spinal, second youngest loved Jago and I loved Chief Thunder).
Brings me back to the good old days !! We stoot in line on the arcade machine to play killer instinct and even now I still play this game .. It never gets old to me .. I keep playing it untill I die .. I remember when they first show of killer instinct on tv with a trailer damn that shit was awesome I was like whhhhhhhhaaaatttttttttttt .. Mom / Dad I need a snes with killer instinct :p
This brought a massive smile to my safe coz it takes me back to the old days (even though I never played in colour, only the yellowy-greeny-grey on the old Gameboy). Quality!

and that how the screen shakes around when the ultra combo is being done along with the speed of the ultras makes it more epic and i wish it was that way with the new KI
Nobody ever anticipated that Rare would make a better fighting game than all of the Mortal Kombats combined, but they did. Hearing "ULTRA COMBOOOOO" makes me feel like i'm 11 years old all over again 😅
I used to play this after i went to houseparties in the 90's completely high on drugs from sunday till monday night till my fingers bled due to ripped callus of my thumbs.Most of the ultras i mamaged only jago and riptor were to hard .Much respect for for the editor of this video i know how hard it is especialy the timing if it was slightly off you would fail
Back went The Crypt Keeper was a young and athletic crypt keeper. Super pretendo (that's how my lil cuz said it 😂) had the best games. I miss those days
