Yep, a person must never give up. I was diagnosed with incurable cancer in 1988, I have never been in remission, and with treatment, I'm still living a happy life.

My neighbor was diagnosed with terminal stomach cancer, given a couple of years at most, and he opted not to take treatment at all. He still lived almost 10 years. There's so much to be said for sheer determination and grit! Bless you, and here's hoping for so many more years for you.

@@mermaiddiyartist8119 I learned to live for the right reasons. I learned that fear is not a permanent thing, it is the warning. There was a book named, "Love, Medicine, and Miracles", that made it possible for me to believe I could love myself, become spiritual without having to become religious, share my story, and live just for today. Sounds simple, but it isn't easy at first.

I would prefer each correspondence manning the desk in turn. Not gonna lie, Klepper is amazing. But the others are not bad either. When they were on the desk, I found interesting sides of them which I never knew before, because as correspondences each of them played a character.

Almost did not watch cause I’m not a huge fan , but I’ve seen him a few other places and now I’m glad I watched .. he’s sure right about religion people are searching for spirituality and community but the church in general no longer has that to offer just extreme segregation and destructive religion .forgot to add that he is spot on when it comes to helping his state in the elections too that’s why I watched and I’m glad it was brought up 😊

A security guard, who is a woman, asked Mr. Render (aka killer mike) for his ID at a security checkpoint backstage at the Grammy ceremony, and instead of just showing his ID, he pitched a fit and shoved her to the ground. That's why he was arrested for assault at the Grammy's event.

I see in Jordan what Jon was like on his first few years of TDS (yes I am that old). I also see a lot of Jon in him period. I really think that after this season, if TDS does survive, that Jordan will be put in the seat permanently. Now to those that wanna say (or remember for that matter) that Jordan had a similar show a few years back that came on after TDS and failed- I would say I already know and watched every episode. FYI EVERY SHOW after The Colbert Report wrapped died in that slot. SO, I argue that that show was Jordan's freshman and junior year in Satire/TDS HS equivalency. This is his senior year. I really think he is ready with some tutoring from Jon NOW, to take the chair. Asso in case you didn't notice Jordan was the first to host the week remainder after first Monday night return of Jon. Just sayin- you always relieve your star player with the next star player. Full Disclosure-not a fanboy of Jordan but am a fan of TDS. Jordan's overall character/role/persona is what will help TDS thrive and appeal again to both old demo and potential new demo. But what do I know. Either that or make Jon work a "brutal" 4 day week again ;)

I am a Canadian as far away from Atlanta community as far as possible, but we were poor and were self reliant. His speech spoke to my community almost like he grew up next door. We're taught that they're one and the same. A colleague pointed out to me when I was 28 that I am a very spiritual person even though I'm not religious. Meant a lot to me

That's the one ... 'work towards' and keep doing just that. We learned from 3 movements in the past; Apartheid, Civil Rights, India's Independence. Then listen to the legal podcast called Constitutional and learn how people have 'worked towards' being included in We The People. Don't 'fight against'. Join groups like: Poor People's Campaign; Border Angels; Join The Union and Field Team 6.
