Thanks my billet brother Jeff for showing me the kill switch setup looks like I gotta get lipo's and the 7pxr now in my rigs because I like that lipo speed. What charger are you using for the lipo's
Well those servos are pretty fast even with regular NIMH batteries too. But the little reedy 2s lipo thats only 35 bucks from tower hobbies is an awesome choice! It lasts n lasts . I like lipo just dont drain them below 3.8 volts and you will never ever have an issue! And you dont need this expensive radio LOL it’s ridiculous and can be so complicated unless you want it. I had side job money burning a whole in my pocket when I got it and it was on sale for 100 bucks off so I Impulse bought it . And I use the charger Killer Rc sells its called the B6AC its a fantastic charger! It balances and discharges n all. You also dont wanna store lipos fully charged . Its good to discharge them to a storage voltage of 3.8 volts per cell. The charger does that too. And keep them in a ammo can with the lid cracked. I treat mine good and they have lasted me for years n years . And you are welcome brother! Im glad you liked the video
Great video! Thanks for showing your stand. I hope I didn’t make a mistake by getting a rovan kill switch for my Baja-Q. I’ve heard tons of good things about the killer b one but was hoping the rovan one would work good with a all stock rovan ya know. Guess I’ll find out when I get time to install it.
Hey brother, you’re very welcome. Did you get the triton kill switch? If so, that is a good one I have used it one time before if it’s a rovan brand I have not tried that one but I hope for the best bro thank you for watching.
@@eastsiderc yeah it’s a rovan brand. I got it from fearless rc, part/item #RV63035. I need to quit being lazy and procrastinating and get it installed I’ve had it for a few weeks now.
Got the same killswitch, and it works as yours, but when i tur the radio off it does not turn engine off, ch 3 works with the button,, any tips, i got the futuba 4pm pluss, god video 👍🏻💥💥
Hey bro a 668/997 or a 990. I prefer the 668/990 for two reasons and I will share why first is the choke on the 668/997 makes for easier starting but mainly because there is no nozzle in the air stream thus giving more CFM of air and secondly because the choke blade actually causes a pick up in air speed which in turn makes a scosh more power . The 990 has no choke and has a big ole nozzle sticking down in the air stream and is a highly over hyped carburetor. I hope that helps you brother but both will work fine. You can also use an 1107/1191 one in this engine but you will sacrifice a little low end and gain a little top end. Have a great night brother! Hopefully I helped you decide .
No i meant i programming it, ive now seen a 6v cut off is correct. I have everything wored up and connected but no matter weather i turn the killswitch on or disable it with the switches onboard it just keeps flashing green and orange. It says that means low voltage but i cant figure out why
