These are rare pieces of footage showing us killer whales using their clever hunting tactics to devour sharks' livers and even dolphins and seals. For copyright matters please contact us at: wilsongeorge3007@gmail.com
I didn't get this comment. I have only seen Silence of the Lambs once, and that was years ago. So I looked this up on RU-vid and found a brief clip. Now I get it. That is nasty and creepy. Orcas may as well make hissing and slurping sounds when eating shark liver. That would be extra scary.
Good comment. Way to think about the priorities in which either should be protected. Of course your conclusion is correct, we can only stand back. Brave comment that explores the nature of man and our relationship with the universe.
I’m sure no human could survive a killer whale attack if we were out there alone… but maybe they wouldn’t kill us because our liver is so tiny? Maybe that’s why they didn’t bite into those people that had them in captivity. Didn’t they just smacked them with their tail or drowned them? Those were such tragic events, but they should never be in captivity. Nothing meant to be wild Should be in captivity. 😢
Well at least we eat what we kill and find uses for what we can’t eat. We even find uses for the bones and guts. Unlike these murderous and wasteful creatures. They torture and kill everything they can. With absolutely no mercy and only eat the tongues and livers. But I don’t blame them. They’re only doing what they’re programmed to do. They’re just trying to survive and have that right. So are humans.
I love orcas. So I am used to them being the apex predators of the sea. I am even aware that they hunt other cetscisns. That is wierd and gross when I think on it. It is like a human chowing down on monkey and ape bushmeat. Eww! The behavior in this video is very strange. Why go for shark liver and baleene whale tongue soecifically? Why waste so much much perfectly good prey meat? The opean sea is a difficult place to find food. So it is in the predators best interest to eat all the edible parts of the body. This movie had lots of shark footage. Speaking of which, sharks are known to have a strong sense of smell and a powerful thirst for blood. Sure scent hounds are definitly known for thier smelling ability and thier usefulness in hunting. The bloodhound is a prime example of this. Yet sharks can give scenthounds a run for thier money. Sharks are like this in order to adapt to environment where food is so scarce. If there is a hint at a meal, a shark is all over that. It is either that or starve to death. Opean oceans are like a desert in terms of food scarcity. So it is wierd for orcas to waste food. Even if they like certain parts best, that doesn't mean they have to waste. Orcas live in groups. So there are enough to finish off one prey animal, even the largest. With thier intellegence, orcas should negociate that the highest ranking one get to eat the tastiest parts or that all take turns eating the tasty part of a prey animal. It is just odd. I was thinking of that. Then the video shows dolphins being attracted to the smell of blood. That is just like how sharks are like. Perhaps this can't be reasoned out. Maybe orcas crave specifically to eat shark livers and baleen whale tongues. That is probably the tastiest things for them. May it is like humans specifically eat fruit of a lot of plants and not the stems and leaves. The fruit is the tasty stuff that has nice carbohydrates. By fruit, I don't just mean sweet stuff, like apple and bananas. I also mean stuff like legimes, nuts, grains and squash. Those are technically fruits from a botanical sense. Tomatoes and chilli are nice fruits too. Maybe orcas crave certain prey parts like humans can get cravings for specific food. I personally like pizza, spaghetti, macaroni and cheese, and icecream. That stuff is so good. Yummy.
