🔥🔥🔥 Quote of the day (definitely paraphrased) "Set your goal, cash out and fulfill that goal or buy that asset ... Then set your next bigger, better goal" - Arthur Hayes 🔥🔥🔥
Arthur is a very smart, educated, but cunning person. He says that you can’t take anyone’s word for it, that everything needs to be double-checked. These words apply to this interview as well. I remember trading on Bitmex (when Arthur was the CEO), I got sick of price spikes every month on all coins, and then they became even more frequent and I went to Fybit. There the index is based on prices from different exchanges. And no one pushes you out of position.
Interesting bloke and views. Hardly a cutting edge interview though. Would be more interesting to know how he avoided jail for, allegedly ,pumping and dumping (and getting super rich from his unfortunate Bitmex users). Or, was it just not having the licenses.. Still, why did he get away with all this, while CZ is being hauled over the coals? The Bitmex chapter is hazy. Would be interesting to know the real story.
Wow, this is amazing! I love how you explained it in the video, I can’t wait to get my hands on some tokens. I’m buying Hyperloot while it’s still on presale, before it goes to the moon!
Thank youth both for these valuable insights! Unbiased except for Cardano.. you know it.. and Makro as I like it. 😊❤ In the moment, he was ask for Cardano I saw this business man face in his laser eyes, so I understand his reaction, unfortunately it was not from the heart but from his wallet.. 😉 but that's ok. We are used to it and soon it could change fundamentally.. 😅
Wise words from Mr Hayes and Jess. Never Bs a Bser. I'm not the brightest light out there but I've spent a lifetime working with Bsers in the aircraft engineering trade. Most famous individual problem I've witnessed is "IFF does not work in the OFF mode".
“The first Ethereum wannabe” I want to point out how uninformed this statement was, or maybe just biased (ma ETH bags). Cardano literally did everything differently than Ethereum for better or worse. Was designing POS before Ethereum, went with a UTXO model instead of account based, no lockup or slashing, different VM (Plutus) instead of the EVM, etc. This is also like saying Polkadot is a wannabe Ethereum when they too did everything differently. Both projects have developed concepts and technologies that have been adopted by the wider crypto community. Not saying either will ever overtake Ethereum, but at least acknowledge they have their own niche and did things differently and aren’t just another copy pasta EVM chain. Btw, my bags are mainly BTC and ETH, but I appreciate when projects try something different like ADA, Dot, Cosmos, etc. At least gives us options instead being stuck in one way of thinking.
Very informative… however the consistent smirks, while discussing extremely important issues, were quite distracting., tends to cause a lack of credibility..
Prudish old fuddy-duddy 🙈 It’s nonsensical to imply that swearing reduces someone’s credibility or persuasiveness. If used in excess, it might, but it was used sparingly in this interview. Swear words are just as valid a part of languages as any other words, and also have their place in helping express yourself in a way that other words can’t.
So if Jessica has a background in journalism, why not ask Arthur how is it that everyone’s buying the stock market if there’s a mini crisis next month? Only he sees it coming?
Don't trust anyone - good andvice, especially avoid trusting crypto bros who preaching a super cycle with a top in 27,while everything before has been over at least one and a half year after halving 😆 sure, he wants to keep his lifestyle, so you should still buy while he starts selling in 25😂🎉
@gnomeskichimp2917 is Jessica herself a crypto native or does she work for the channel like a news Channel moderator? Could explain it maybe. In every cycle people beeing hyped as experts and after the hype you can finally distinguish who really did gave good advice and who just wanted to create moonboys for the own investment scheme 😅
Excellent content; thanks for interviewing a true OG; as a miner at scale since 2016, Arthur is one of the few people worth the time to listen to. Peace, Sis
my weekends used to involve powder dumps and it was some of the best powder int he world too but those days are long gone. i hate the stuff now. we all have to grow up thankfully
Office buildings and other commercial buildings could easily be converted into housing single and double units and would be write offs for the owners of these building and would supply more housing only problem is the amount of skilled tradesmen available to complete the tasks another reason the trades should be a main option in public schools and a reason to support BOCES programs.
No, it's not that easy. It's not that cut and dry. Commercial real estate Turning into residential property will be the FINAL NAIL in the coffin. Where talking 100b$ in lost property loans and even more money to fix it.... lose lose situation
The owners of those commercial buildings are already getting write offs for being vacant. There is no ability to claim losses for vacant residential property AFAIK.
There’s zoning limitations for many of those. You can’t just turn commercial into residential real estate or vice versa. And those are very complex and notoriously slow to change.
Good comments about distrust everyone and scams, but this short-sighted chatter about Cardano is a shame. But it doesn't matter, I understand that many people underestimate Cardano's preparation and strength.
If a company is paying for the space it’s not worth less no matter how many employees are coming in. If they are using less space they need to get a smaller space.
With etfs and the amount of miners and big built mining farms by big money players I truly only see bitcoin as being a store of value at best and many other projects being the rails for a more efficient web3 environment where tokenization will play a major part of the future of finance and business management/development as a whole.
Absolutely useful interview. This guy actually said that there is NO MANIPULATION on Solana and crypto!? Is it his first day in crypto, no, so he's probably a talking head of the manipulators, the "btc to a million" gang))
Someone so well versed in crypto liquidity describes Chainlink like that digi market thingy sorta thing -- euther major competition or somenes buying bags..
The most important of going into an office is the socialising, something every shrill for work from home either have no idea of or are ignorant of human nature.
Not sure why Coin Bureau has it out for Cardano. The pause after the question was telling and hmm let me think back to 2017.... Someone isn't keeping up with the top crypto projects..
Imagine if few Banks like JPMorgan are too big to fail and will have to be saved if in serious troubles. This means at the same time the super rich wich there some wealth, their fortune will be safed as well. But with you account somewhere ar local smaler Bank may can end with nothing, depending on the magnitude.
