The first song I ever heard from KJ back in the 80s on college radio. I was instantly hooked Now that I've heard all their stuff, have seen them live, this is still my favorite Joke song.
Absolutely! I'm 53 now. I remember being a teen in 1986 and loved it when this UHF video show would show the Sanity video. I remember buying the record at a Music Plus store. Great album!
lyrics: Courage and cowards move heroes to ecstasy, Welcomes of war and wounds, vigil and victory. Structures of atoms dance, sugar towards the taster, Prey to the predator, love as we're falling down. Through light and laughter flow, to dirge and death we go. Mindless processions move, lanterns of burning towns. Welcome to fray and feast, bliss in all sorrows found. Rhythm and random moves and waves of revelations. Patterns I'm finding As pain and joy and sorrow mingle. Patterns we're finding Our faces raised in adoration. Deserts are paradise, awake to genocides. Delight and suffering, these roles that we have found. Nourished by food we eat, hungered by waste excrete. From apes or sons of god, let every act be sacred. Patterns I'm finding As pain and joy and sorrow mingle. Patterns we're finding Our faces raised in adoration.
Haven't seen anything on You Tube, and I've looked all over. Killing Joke has never done a good job of creating that ultimate concert video or even done much of a job of promoting themselves. Such a shame.
Hi, I am quite sure that this live version of Adoration and other songs are on the CD (red and black cover) called „love like blood“. It looks like a studio compilation but it is a concert live. I had it but lost it unfortunately…
Withdraw your earplugs old buddy, the bass of Raven here is shitty compared to the other shows.. that said, do you know that Killing Joke are selling in "meet & greet vip first access" for 100 $ before their shows like justin beiber, hahaha what a joke.
Dude are you really gonna slam the Joke for charging 100$? They are legends! When in the world if you live in the US, will you ever get to hang out with living legends? Do you know how much it costs to tour now a days? You call yourself a fan, give me a break! Plus, the tickets to see them live are under 40 bucks arent they? Dont be a cheapster dude.
