Quality! Jaz, Geordie, Paul and not so Youth. When I was a kid growing up in West Germany this sounded like the soundtrack to the coming nuclear apocalypse.
Amazing show. So thrilled to see that there's more than one complete recording of this 2019 show at St. Vitus. I was so incredibly fortunate to be there. Fantastic audio, too. Cheers! UPDATE November 26 2023: R.I.P. Geordie. There can be no Killing Joke without you.
His guitar sound and "feel" cannot be replicated. He wasn't a shredder, but he had a truly unique approach to playing guitar and contributing to this band. Does his son play guitar? I know he played keyboards on a few of the tours, ... maybe he could fill in for a few tribute shows? But very few people could fill in and "get" that sound.
@@RA_Mille The guys hands hardly moved but the sound that came out of him was just otherworldly some might even say channeled. Huge loss KJ have been a part of my life for so long and they were the only thing that never sold out or changed in a bad way.
..some Line up changes.. Raven, Marty Atkins...etc. sorry to Hear K.Geordie passed so young..Been almost 2 weeks now. Fly High in the sky with the Valkyries@!!!!
Nice sound , brilliant come back to Australia when you can , if you can Fucking brilliant selection of songs great to see the original line up on stage 10/10 Psyche is so fucking white hot .... on fire guys
Killing Joke is a great live band,i was told that JAZ COLEMAN was a person that u didn't approach because he's an arrogant asshole, but those people were totally wrong,i met him at an after show party in Dallas TX,YOUTH was doing a DJ party, and i met the whole band,i talked with GEORDIE the most,he was so humble & super cool, and people were saying Jaz will not show up,well guess what, they were wrong,he showed up and was cool as hell,he talked to me & my brother like he knew us for years...I really miss GEORDIE
Fantastic quality. My favourite live band of all time. Saw them in Dublin last month and they are at the top of their game. Great to have this, the best quality video I have seen of KJ live in 2019.
Tool have had a lot of legends open for them. They do it because they want to introduce their fans to great artists and artists who influenced them. I remember back when King Crimson was opening for Tool too… Another example where maybe it should be the other way around, but I respect the band making those kinds of efforts, especially when the majority of their fans don’t have any idea who they are..
In fact he looks better now than he did a little more than ten years ago. He lost a little weight and he must be taking better care of his health, I guess: it's been a while since the last time he had serious issues.
Looks like Alice Cooper to me wanna be. Lol 😂 I love all rock and all music of every kind.. I grew up in the 80’s best era ever & wouldn’t trade it for a thing. My close friend Shorty played & traveled in the mini Kiss band back in the day… promoting Dr. Pepper lol & maybe some other sodas 🥤 but KISS started the make up and there are tons of KISS 💋 fans still today! I think it’s kool they let the short people like my friend play in the mini Kiss bands. Football 🏈 Party at his place this Sunday’. I’m there!! A local band will be playing in his back yard. I wonder how to reach this band & if they would want in?
