I remember the original version done by Roberta Flack in the 70's. Yes I'm revealing my age. I grew up in the 1970's and graduated from high school in 1982

Another fantastic cover of this old song, originally by Lori Liberman in 1972, then got widely known by Roberta Flack 1973 and again in the Hip-Hop-version by the Fugees from 1996. Your voice is wonderful and you add some beautiful moves in the video, which has a hidden aspect. it shows you in some scenes singing the background track not the lead. Awesome!

I can't help but think that the release of this song is in response to the news that The Fugees just had to cancel their entire American tour days before kickoff after low ticket sales. what a shame that a great band from only 20 years ago can't fill enough seats to justify a tour. but as usual with Giulia it's great to see her paying homage to the legends with an incredible rendition 🙏 #QueenBehavior

Loved it. Great performance, Giulia! Note to editor: Interesting that Giulia jumps between singing (mining) the lead and the backing vocals in the video. I wonder how it would be, despite it being more effort, to do a superimposition of two videos, one doing lead, the other doing backing, to match the audio. I think that'd be cool to watch.

Beautiful performance but I really like the original arrangement with Roberta Flack better than this Fugees arrangement. You should get Andrei Cerbu to play the guitar accompaniment and record that version of this song.

It is bad. Roberta Flack is not a valid reference. There were other inerpretations, which were very better. The tempo is too slow. And what is the reason for this disco accompaniment ?

Why not sing the origjnal version its far nicer

It's a ROBERTA FLACK song from the early '70, so much better than the Fugees cover, like Guilas cover as well

I much prefer the original, by Roberta Flack, with feelings instead of the silliness that The Fugees stuck on instead.
