Exactly, Enlisted just doesnt feel like Warthunder with infantry. it lacks something. I also agree with your first statement, having infantry in tanks is so much better.

You should do a “tank enthusiast reacts” on the roblox game MTC 4 (multi crew tank combat 4) I think you’d like the concept of actually controlling a vehicle with multiple people and repairing and refueling it, plus I wanna see what you rate the models in game

Very technically, some WT maps have AI Pz38s(?), I guess you could vaguely substitute infantry by having a whole bunch of light tanks and tankettes rolling around. It's not like M2s in 1940 have changed all that much to M2s in 2020

StuG III was originally envisioned as mobile artillery, not a tank. They weren't part of Panzer divisions and they weren't crewed by tankers, but artillery men. This tune changes in 1942 when the KwK 40 is introduced to be fair.
