Quick Explanation for how this works: in minecraft, an arrow’s damage is based off its speed, with no damage cap. So if you fling an arrow fast enough, you can kill *almost* anything.
@@sumitatiwary7531 fair point. Even though the creaking isn’t in yet, the same logic also applies to mobs like closed shulkers, and the wither when in its melee only state (although you can still one shot the wither if it’s in its first phase).
so insane to me how one shot went from a fever dream of an idea, to a theoretical strat, to a barely possible technical strat, to a feat humans could obtain with some INSANE skill and luck, to a strat viable enough to actually be used in runs. I remember when it was pulled off for the first time and it was this insane achievement, but now people just do it casually. technical Minecraft players and Minecraft speed runners are a different breed
Dude I can't believe how insane some of Rekrap's stuff is! Plus his video are some of the most entertaining ones on RU-vid! Keep up the crazy good work man! Also what do you think about the newer snapshots making it so ender pearls are always loaded even if chunks aren't?
You know, I've been dreading learning 1-shot for mostly the same reason you have (thinking it's gonna be way too difficult for someone my skill level) but after you talked about how it was much easier than you expected, I GOTTA find another excuse because ain't no way I'm ever getting that to work
I watched Doogile's run of this same seed and it was pretty nice to get some commentary on the Nether split of this run. Nice video and congrats on the oneshot.
this goes to show that even though your mistakes are obvious to you and seem devastating, youre still an incredibly skilled player! this is a certified rekrap2 W.
You're progress is just impressive to beating Minecraft in one hour to killing the ender dragon with just one frickin arrow i think if you keep improving yourself like this you could easily be top ten Minecraft player cuz you're the only dude that literally good in every single thing in this game I believe in you Mr Parker!!!
if anyones wondering how oneshot works, its this. firstly, arrow damage is based off of its speed, and the ender dragon has one specific spot that gives insane knockback to anything near it. if you shoot the arrow right, the knockback from that spot flings the arrow back into the dragon at a speed high enough to one shot it.
3:30 "How do I expect that I, that I can do this?" You can do anything if you put your mind to it rek, and you have learned so many unbelievable skills from that :D
